Begin your evening at the Gorreana Tea Plantation and factory, where you can learn about and taste the unique tea. The factory is a delightful place filled with vintage historical pieces, with windows that offer views of the plantation slopes.

Make a stop in the Furnas valley to take in the panoramic view from the Pico do Ferro viewpoint. Travel along the scenic edges of Furnas lake and pause to walk by the steaming cooking pods. Here, you can witness where and how your dinner is cooked underground.

Continue to the village to explore the numerous geysers and thermal springs, and enjoy the spectacle of smoke against the darkening skies.

Before dinner, you have the option to relax at the local Poça da D. Beija hot springs. Please note that tickets are not included and must be purchased online in advance (select the 18:00-19:30 time slot; it is recommended to book tickets at least 3 days in advance, especially during high season, as they sell out quickly).

Conclude the evening with a complete meal featuring the island’s signature dish, “cozido,” along with a starter, dessert, espresso, and drinks.
