Ricardo is an excellent... - Ricardo is an excellent tour guide. Picked us up at our B&B which was out of town. Gave us a comprehensive tour of Funchal before and after the sled ride. He made the tour very special.

Fun tour! - Excellent, easy, safe tour! Driver very safe and friendly! Very helpful in getting organized for sled ride down. Waiting for us at bottom and took video for us.

Climb in Tuck Tuck to Monte then descend again. - Superb basket descent from Monte to the seafront. A big thank you to Renato for his service , his kindness, his climb in Tuck Tuck until the start of the baskets. He was waiting for us on arrival to film us. Then drove us to the market where he was dropping us off. Strong advice. As a couple in stopover with the Costa Fortunato.

Best tuktuk ride in Madeira! - Thank you Ricardo, thoroughly enjoyed the tour very informative and friendly service would highly recommend. One of my favourite tours of Madeira, and the sledging was really fun.

A real experience such a private tuk tuk tour conducted by Ricky. - Highly recommended. Ricky is a cheerful guy who tells a lot about the city and its history. On the way to Montse, at the very top of the mountain, you can enjoy the beautiful views along the way. There will also be a pit stop in between to enjoy this quietly. Eventually we slid from top to bottom in the familiar baskets. Hilarious thing to do. We were lucky with a wait of 20 minutes, can sometimes be up to 3 hours Ricky told us. Downstairs Ricky was waiting for us to film us and then continue on the road in his tuk tuk. We had a great time.

Great tour - Great tour with Alexis who guided us to the toboggan and was waiting for us at the bottom. Alexis was Knowledgeable and guided us through the old town and kindly rearranged the itinerary to drop us off at botanical Gardens Many thanks Alexis and would thoroughly recommend you to anyone staying in funchal 👍👍😎😎

Wonderful trip & excellent host! - Ricardo Silva was an excellent guide. He drove the Tuk tuk well, safely and was considerate of the bumps in the roads. He provided an informative tour on the way up to the toboggans and throughout our tour of the old town. Would highly recommend. It’s great fun but be... - It’s great fun but be prepared for delays at Monte for the start of the basket ride- especially if there are cruise ships in. That caused a delay to our start but Alexis kept us regularly updated. We then had a great time. Our driver Ricky was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and couldn’t have been more helpful.
