A good experience - My query regarding transport prior to booking was answered very quickly, we booked the Nuns Valley Tour and the Go West Tour and was very happy with both. Vehicle was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the driver/s were very knowledgeable about each stop and area, happy to answer any question. Would certainly use Madeira Happy Tours again should we revisit Madeira

A lovely afternoon - We had a really lovely afternoon with Nico. The trip took us to 4 lovely places, much easier than driving ourselves. It was a small group & everywhere was quite quiet. Nico told us lots of interesting facts about Madeira & is very funny.

A happy Happy Tours tourist - This was our fourth tour with Happy tours and I have enjoyed every one. The guides are always very nice and pleasant. This had four stops the highlight being Eira do Serrano, stunning views of the mountains and into nuns valley. A very good lookout point by the car parks and better up the path to the platform. The cafe gift shop is a bad tourist trap there. The village is quite small, just a few cafes and shops. Not great quality wise just standard tourist fare. The best thing is the views looking back up at the mountains and the small local church. The last stop was the fishing village Camara de Lobos which was buzzing with activity around the sea front bars and in the little streets. Very quaint.

Very good guide. Very nice ride. - Very good guide, stops in the right places. The weather was not perfect but the tour was very cool! Nothing wrong. We recommend

Lovely tour - We did a small group tour with Nico who is a very good guide. The views are stunning and we had time to explore , take pictures and sample the local food and drink. A very interesting and relaxing tour I would definitely recommend it

A great trip to Nuns Valley - My husband and I went on the Nuns Valley morning trip, we didn’t feel able to commit to a full day trip as my husband has a metal knee. We met our driver, Nico, at Madeira Happy Tours office near to our hotel, which was really convenient . There were 5 of us on the tour, and Nico was very informative, and gave us plenty of time at each of the stops. The highlight for us was the viewpoint over Nuns Valley, the scenery was magnificent, and my husband managed all the steps up to the viewpoint! We would definitely book again with Madeira Happy Tours, they offer a first class service!

Madeira Nuns Vally Tour - Good commentary by driver, good route with interesting views and experiences. Clean and safe vehicle. Plenty of opportunities for photography at amazing scenery. Good driver/customer interaction. We liked our trip very much.

Not a favourite tour. - The view from the first view point was amazing as were some of the other views. The village stop offs not so interesting! In particular the stop off in the Village at the base of Nuns Valley was really not at all interesting. There was nothing to do there and nothing of real interest to look at. Certainly not one of the best tours we did so disappointing.

The singer not the song - The driver / guide spent too much time telling the passengers how hard his job is, how well he does it. He even started the trip by telling us how bad English drivers are when driving rental cars whilst on holiday.

Trip is okay for price. Nice spots of mountainside - Overall for the price it wasn’t bad ! the views from the mountain areas were amazing at both spots. the actual nuns valley village stop was nice with little local shop and restaurant. The last stop was not great, nothing to do or really see! I will say the tour folks were amazing in responding with questions.
