The Food & Wine Walking Tour takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and it starts at 10.00am. Attendance 15 minutes earlier is required. The meeting point is at Infante Roundabout right next to “H&M” store at 09.45am.

Best way to see the city - Not only did we get to try some delicious food and drinks, but the portion sizes were good. I came away feeling full. Our guide, Roberto, was very knowledgeable about the island and shared all this info with passion and humour.

Great experience, a lovely city! - We booked this tour for the second day on our short mid week break. I always book a food / walking tour in every city and country I travel to and this tour was up there as one of the best. Robert was an excellent guide. We not only discovered the amazing history of Madeira and the city of Funchal but had some lovely food and drink. We covered quite a lot in the time that we had. Stops included chocolate, cake Madeira, fruit and some amazing fish. You would not necessarily find these places by just wandering. What a great experience, thanks Robert!

Culinary through Funcial - We had a culinary walk through Funchal with very many delicious specialties. It was great. A great guide . We learned a lot about laughing Hesse and drinking. Very varied.

Such a fantastic tour of Madeira’s food and drinks! - My partner and I loved this tour. Our guide Matt was so knowledgeable and great! I loved how he incorporated history of Madeira along with cultural food and wine. The tour was full of wonderful bites, desserts and a great lunch at the end! Highly recommend this tour and Matt as your guide!

Robert was perfect - Robert our guide was extra friendly and knowledgeable.The tastings of drinks and food were good and unlike other food tours not too much.Very enjoyable 3 half hour tour and have no hesitation recommending it.The tour made all the beter by Robert and the 7 German participants with me and my wife from Ireland.

Beautiful hours with impressions we would not have seen otherwise - Network connection was down, could not locate the meeting point with Navi. In the end we arrived much later. via a hotspot we contact Tripadvisor. We were told no problem. You make a new appointment. 2 hours later we started and it was a great guided tour of Filipa. Great performance 👍

History, food, and wine ! - The guide was funny and shared great pieces of history about the island. The food was varied, although not all for my taste. The experience was still a good time. Visiting the wine factory was interesting and delicious.
