It's worth it! I highly recommend. An experience in Madeira to not miss - A unique experience! This tour went through the most iconic and not to miss places in Madeira. Santana was the best spot, no doubt! I highly recommend this experience. I booked through the viator and didn't worry about anything else. In addition, we made the PR11, the railway of the shelves, beautiful!

A beautiful day trip - We had an incredible day led by Marco. On the first stop we came up through the clouds to see amazing views, the second stop we had opportunity for a 45 minute walk through the forest followed by a lunch stop and more scenic stops. Marco impressed us with a constant flow of information on things around us, flowers, local history and funny personal anecdotes. he did the whole tour in english and german but this didn't stop it feeling very personable! It was a perfect way to spend my birthday and see the island without the stress of trying to navigate and drive a country that's new to me. 100/10 recommend!

Fabulous views - Excellent service and an all round good experience. Carlos, our guide and driver, was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited some incredible sites high above the clouds: the views were spectacular.

Great experience - Great tour for exploring part of Madeira. Take a light jacket or something as it can be a bit chilly when you explore the highest parts of the island.

A very interesting tour and a great way to end our holiday - There was a little confusion about our pick-up, but that was quickly sorted, and after that we had a great day. Our guide, Carlos, was very knowledgeable, and shared a lot of interesting information about Madeiran history and the places we visited. We particularly enjoyed the levada walk, the views from Pico Do Areeiro, and the triangular thatched houses in Santana. There were several stops during the day to get snack and refreshments. We stopped off for a three-course lunch (which was an optional extra). The day ended with a visit to a rum factory and a tasting, and the chance to buy some locally-made Madeiran rum (without being pressurised to do so). We were a multi-lingual group, and Carlos switched easily between Portuguese, French and English throughout the day. This tour was the last thing we did in Madeira, and was a great way to end our holiday.

Eastern Madeira and Santana - We really enjoyed our trip to Eastern Madeira and Santana. The minibus was comfortable and our guide Carlos was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this excursion.

beautiful tour of the eastern part of Madeira - We were picked up nicely on time, the driver Tony was a good guide and knew a lot about Madeira with the necessary humor , we saw a lot of the island and had enough time to look at everything and take pictures.

Although the weather was... - Although the weather was wet the first portion of the day, it was a great tour of the north and northeast parts of Madeira. Daniel was an excellent driver and guide, and filled us in on an incredible amount of information and trivia, and allowed us ample time at the stops to enjoy them. The rum distillery was a highlight, as were several viewpoints, and the levada walk. Time well spent.
