The drive continues to Ponta Delgada, a charming village where the natural beauty is at its finest. A lunch break is scheduled at São Jorge / Cabanas de São Jorge, a distinctive village with breathtaking sea views, surrounded by mountains and vineyards, showcasing some of Madeira’s most remarkable landscapes.

The return trip winds through magnificent valleys, passing the picturesque village of Faial and Porto da Cruz, where there is an opportunity to visit the “Northern Milling Company” to learn about its sugar cane rum production. Although it may not be harvest or fermentation time, visitors can still observe the entire process and history of one of the island’s most significant mills.

The tour concludes with a stop at a stunning viewpoint overlooking the city of Machico.
