Definitely recommend, beautiful experience. - Such a well planned tour. Highly recommended if you are in Madeira. Louise was a lovely tour guide. We enjoyed thoroughly.

Super organization, very friendly guide, fun, experience, many great impressions and impressive landscapes. - It was a really great day. Great locations, super great scenery. Comfortable in a small bus with air conditioning. Super nice and friendly tour guide. Big praise to Hugo. He was a very special experience.

Great Tour! - This is a great way to have a chance to see many different areas on the north and west parts of Madeira! You will have only a set amount of time at each stop on the trip, but the views and experience were amazing.

Great trip with a fantastic guide. - This was a very interesting, reasonably priced, tour. The weather was not the best, but our guide ensured we got the most of the day- including a trip back to the high cliff- the morning had been too misty).
I would not have fancied driving these roads!

Good experience with happy tours - We did 2 full day and 1 half day tour with Happy Tours and couldn't fault any of them. Both drivers, Lewis and Hugo were informative and friendly. We felt safe driving around with them and the amount of time at each stop was just right

Go West Tour - Small bus tour which is a great introduction to the west and all it's beauty. Our driver/guide, Hugo, was wonderful, and we learned so much about the history and culture of Madeira. Highly recommend it.

Great day tour option - This was a very well planned out tour and Hugo (sorry if I misspelled) was very knowledgeable and helpful. He told us a lot of interesting facts about the island and the residents which I enjoyed. We saw some beautiful locations and would definitely recommend this tour for those that don’t want to rent a car. This tour will take you to some of the major landmarks which is perfect if maybe your stay on island is limited or if you’re not sure on what to see during your visit.

Disappointing day - Go West Trip March 2025
Not really impressed with this trip.
Organisation, communication and timings all good and no issues.
Trip completely spoilt by a one passenger who spent the whole day trip talking to the driver whilst we were on the tour. Not the drivers/guide fault but he could have stopped this earlier instead he let it dominate the whole day. We did not want to hear hours of endless chat when we wanted to hear the guide and concentrate on what we were seeing. We were desperate for the tour to end!
Separately, the tour after the lunch stop at Porto Moniz was not that interesting and seemed hurried.
