Incredible Catamaran Trip! - 100% recommend taking Madeira Magic Dolphin tour if visiting Funchal! I took my two teenage kids on the tour and we were all super impressed with our experience. One of the best tours we did on the island. Although the line to board the boat looked long and like the boat would be uncomfortably full, it was not. Everyone had plenty of space to sit and move around on the boat. The lower deck was nicely shaded and the upper deck had seats in both the shade or sun. As well, you could sit in the front of the boat in the sun or on nets above the water. They have a small concession to buy drinks and snacks, plus two large and clean bathrooms on board. We saw bottle nose dolphins and pilot whales, and they were wonderful to watch. The crew is very aware of marine wildlife rules, and maintains a respectful distance from the animals, and will stay and watch for 10 minutes before moving on. We did a great sail across the shoreline to see Funchal from the water. Then the highlight was getting off the boat via easy stairs at the front of catamaran to swim in the ocean below the sea cliffs. It was spectacular! The crew were all so kind and amazing and provided lots of information about the dolphins and whales we saw. My son is prone to seasickness and my daughter is not a fan of boats, but both had such a positive time and said it was the highlight of their trip. A trip that everybody should take. - It was a quiet trip, where we learned more about the various species of dolphins and whales. We had the privilege of seeing ordinary dolphins and pilot dolphins, having been the highlight of this experience. We stopped at Cabo Girão for a diving and it was a unique opportunity. The entire crew was impeccable, passing on their knowledge, perspectives and good disposition. From the moment we bought the tickets, we were very well received with all the sympathy of the team.

Everything ran very... - Everything ran very smoothly on our trip. The staff in the office and on the boat were brilliant. We saw two pods of dolphins and the crew member was very knowledgable and passionate on how we can look after the dolphins in their natural habitat.

Great experience - Excellent ! Great and professional crew which made an extra effort by turning around on the way back to Funchal so we could see a whale which was spotted by a team member ! Top notch customer service.

Highly recommended! - We were traveling with our two toddlers (3 years and 1 year old) on the catamaran and totally thrilled. The crew was very nice and we saw dolphins and even a Bryde whale. Our tour was even extended for 30 minutes so we could observe the whale up close (but animal welfare - compliant). Really spectacular! We can recommend this experience for big and small!

Super trip - This was way better than I expected, the guides are fun and knowledgeable, we saw one pod of dolphins, and explored the coast. Overall, excellent value for money.

Relaxing trip - Loved the relaxing feel of the catamaran and it was fantastic to see a pod of spotted dolphins within the first half hour. We watched them for the allotted 10 mins and the crew explained why we couldn’t stay longer. Later, as we were on our way back, we heard all about the different types of dolphins found in the seas of Madeira. An enjoyable few hours at sea

Take a chance to see sealife - My son and myself enjoyed the Comfortable 3 hour boat ride. We actually saw some dolphins. No whales unfortunately. Enjoyed a nice boat ride with a good espresso and a very short swim in a bay. Although there were about a 100 people on the boat there was enough space. My wife unfortunately got sea sick ( as a few other people).

Beautiful few hours on the water - A lovely spacious comfortable boat. There is no guarantee to see Wildlife however we were lucky to see 6 Dolphins. The captain stopped at the end for a quick swim. A beautiful sunny day out on the water.
