Highly recommended tour! - Absolutely great tour. We saw lots of bottlenose dolphins and short finned pilot whales. The guide and captain were very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They helped with our young kids too, especially our 2 year old. Would highly recommend!

Great Experience - Amazing experience and great tour guide who always had a smile on her face! Our tour guide also managed to rescue a turtle who had gotten caught. All in all great trip!

Accommodation of Dolphins - Super organized company. We booked and received a call asking for us to be 30 minutes earlier, also indicated the type of clothing and what we should carry. The tour started in hours and both the biologist and the sleeper were very friendly. It took a while but we spotted dolphins in two different locations. We love the trip and recommend this company.

I recommend, very friendly crew and dolphins too 😁 - Great experience, we saw quite a few dolphins.... It was very impressive, the crew was super friendly! In addition we stayed longer because we were following a group of dolphins.

Very successful dolphin watching - It was excellent! We found four groups of dolphins, two species in one of them. This company has spotters with some good spyglasses on the land who direct the boat to where they the animals are. In our case it worked great.

Dolphin spotting with children - This was a highlight for our daughters and a good change from the walks if your legs could use some rest in the meantime. Spotted two species of dolphins (bottlenose dolphins and pilot whales) and been close to the deserted islands. Very pleasant crew, at the end the children got a diploma.

Simply amazing - Wow, what a trip. Went out today with Filipe and Joana absolutely amazing. Saw a pod of about 30 pilot Whales followed them for about an hour. Waited as they dived then reappeared. Captain stayed a very respectful distance and allowed them to come to us which they did. Great trip would definitely recommend.

Ok if you don’t want much interaction - Trip was changed from a 1pm start Saturday to 930am Sunday morning … and asked to check in at 9am. Not convenient but no other availability. The staff then arrived 15 mins late. Trip was ok - after an hour saw dolphins and a whale . Staff were average. Not that enthusiastic or knowledgable. Not much interaction . Done similar tour before that was much better.

Don't trust this agency. - I went with my partner on a whale watching trip on Dec. 22, 2024. We did not see any whales, or dolphins, because the conditions were not too good and there seemed to be some scouting issues with the agency. Of course, such things can happen. We had booked via tripadvisor, and according to our booking, Ventura Nature Emotions offered us a refund or to take a second trip on another day. We choose the refund because we were leaving Madeira, and they agreed to it. BUT WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY REFUND AND ALL OUR INQUIRIES SINCE HAVE BEEN IGNORED. WE HAVE WRITTEN SEVERAL MESSAGES AND RECEIVED NO ANSWER AT ALL. This is more than indecent, it is a proper fraud. The guides were friendly and I don't suppose it's their fault, however DON'T TRUST THIS AGENCY.

Short-term cancellation - We were really looking forward to this trip! Unfortunately, the booked excursion was cancelled without giving reasons one day before. What a shame!
