- Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto - For our last stop of the we will go to the Ponta do Rosto viewpoint, where you can see the red cliffs and, if the weather allows it, you can even see a part of the Porto Santo island
- Machico - We will go thtough Machico which was the first capital of Madeira
- Santa Cruz - And finally we will go through Santa Cruz before dropping you off in your Hotel

It's a Feeling words cannot explain .... - We had the most incredible experience with Safari Madeira 4x4 Tours words can hardly capture how amazing it was!
We booked the Executive Private Tour, and it was beyond anything we expected. Our driver was exceptional – incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and so easy to get along with. He made the entire journey enjoyable with his great sense of humor and warm personality. Not only was he a fantastic guide, but he was also an excellent driver, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire tour.
The tour itself was absolutely breathtaking – every single moment was memorable, and we couldn’t pick one highlight because it was all so spectacular! From the stunning landscapes to the hidden gems of Madeira, the experience was flawless. The 4x4 vehicle was in immaculate condition, adding to the overall luxury of the experience.

Full day Jeep Safari to East Madeira - We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The guide was cheerful, and gave us interesting facts about the island as we drove along. I enjoyed the information he gave us regarding the trees and plants in the different locations. The stop offs were great, with enough time to take photos, as well eats and drinks. Included was a short Levada walk, with a great view point at the end. As it can be cold at the top of hills, take a warm jacket. A lovely day.

Excellent Madeira tour - Had an excellent day out, our driver Pedro was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Was great seeing some of the interesting places on the island even better being able to go off road and see some amazing scenery.
The time went really quickly.
There was only 2 couples in a small jeep which made the day really easy going.

An unforgettable day, worth every penny! - An amazing day, John picked me up at my cottage and drove us from one awesome place to the next. I visited a 2 km high mountain, went hiking for 1h in the "primordial forest", experienced 2x long offroad routes standing in the open jeep, was on several coasts, mountains, cliffs and waterfalls. There were also great backgrounds and explanations about the places, nature or the many fruits along the routes. The residence times were exactly right. Important : today it was about 20 to 17 degrees, without a windproof jacket with a kaputze or cap and long pants you break at the beginning, because you drive there directly to the highest mountain. Later I also switched to short pants, but you have to warm your head or upper body. Hiking boots necessary! I can recommend the trip 100%... Greetings, Matthias. Thank you John!

Great Tour - Despite the Weather.... - Great experience.
John our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the island, plants and events. He told us of the Christmas festivities in the centre of Funchal that evening which we went to and enjoyed immensely..Thanks John.

Great tour with an excellent guide - The jeep tour of Madeira's East with Safari Madeira was very enjoyable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, fluent in German and English, and he kept our small group pleasantly engaged and entertained throughout. The stops were well worth visiting (although Santana, perhaps, is not all that interesting). Fantastic scenery, some adventurous roads through the forests (narrow and muddy, but not scary if you suffer from vertigo). The jeep was more comfortable than the Land Rovers that are often used for such safaris, and it safely and comfortably brought us to a waterfall hidden in a forest, as well as up and down some rural paths that a mini van would not be able to travel. In the end, it's the fantastic guide who turned a good tour into a great one. Would definitely recommend the tour and Safari Madeira to other visitors.

Great day with our South African tour guide and Norwegian guests - Fantastic day out seeing so much of the island. Our driver whose name escapes me (South African chap) was amazing. He was like a talking text book and gave us so much information. Thoroughly enjoyable and overall the east was better than the west tour, in terms of experience.
We had a lovely couple from Norway too, who joined us Artu and Sylvia. Such a wonderful day and well worth it. Take a few layers, as we had different temperatures throughout the day.

Not necessarily recommended in December - In principle, a nice tour. However, not at this time of year, or in December.
We left in sunshine and from halfway to Pico do Arieiro we received thickest fog with rain and 5 degrees.
Since there was nothing to see, you could have saved the trip. The rest was pretty good.
You can't blame the organizer for the weather.
