An unforgettable Valentine’s Day on Madeira! - We were lucky to spend Valentine’s Day on Madeira for the very first time, and on our very first day, we booked the Sunset Boat Tour with Crystal Sea Madeira. Saying we enjoyed it would be an understatement — it was absolutely magical.
The team are true professionals. They created a wonderfully romantic and relaxed atmosphere from the start. They shared fascinating stories and spoke fluent Portuguese, English, Ukrainian, and Russian — which made the experience even more personal and warm.
The boat was spotless, with fresh towels, chilled prosecco, and the most breathtaking sunset over the ocean. It felt like visiting close friends who just happen to know everything about Madeira!
They also gave us amazing tips about what to see on the island, where to eat, and what to explore in Funchal. I truly recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your trip — it sets the tone for the whole vacation and gives you so many useful local insights.
We’ll definitely return to Madeira — it’s a true paradise on Earth. And without a doubt, we’ll book another tour with Crystal Sea Madeira. Absolutely five stars!

Fantastic afternoon - Had a fantastic afternoon with Fabio and Kristal. We felt very easy and natural on the boat with our hosts. My husband tried paddle boarding and my friend and I went in the sea, which was warmer than the swimming pool in our hotel. The water was so calm

Amazing tour! - Our group of four had an amazing experience on the Chrystal Sea. Fabio and Kristina were incredibly kind and informative, sharing fascinating details about Madeira and its stunning coastline. The boat was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable journey. I would highly recommend Chrystal Sea to anyone looking for a memorable boat tour!

A wonderful and unforgettable trip! - A wonderful boat trip with lovely hosts who were very friendly and accommodating. Due to weather conditions at sea, we were unable to take the normal route to the west of the island and instead travelled to the east. However, Fabio ensured that this did not impact the enjoyment of our trip and took us to great areas for the snorkelling and paddle boarding. We found this this to be great value for money between 4 of us but would represent even better value if you are a slightly larger group. Would highly recommend joining Kristina and Fabio for a trip along the coast of this beautiful island.

Very nice boat, friendly staff - We were a group of four (two couples in our 50s). We took a private tour with Fabio and Cristina as our hosts. The boat was spotless and in very good condition! They delivered exactly what was promised! We toured for 2 1/2 hours, while Cristina told us curiosities about the island, hotels, houses and famous people…
We went as far as Cabo Girão, where we stopped for a swim and snorkeling. After that we went back to the starting point.

Beautiful day at sea! - We had an incredible day on the sea with Kristina and Fabio! They were absolutely wonderful! They made the day perfect from start to finish! They showed us magnificent views along the coast that were unforgettable! They also took us to an amazing swimming spot where we were able to swim, snorkel, and relax! Our young children (4 and 7 years old) had so much fun and we felt so safe at sea with them. An absolutely unforgettable experience overall. I highly recommend this boat trip! We will absolutely be booking another trip with Cristal Sea the next time we’re in Madeira!!

Highly recommend this relaxing and interesting trip - A truly wonderful trip with Fabio and Kristina. We had a great time seeing the sights of Funchal from the water, together with a refreshing swim in the sea and paddle boarding. Kristina and Fabio kept us entertained throughout the trip, pointing out interesting buildings and wildlife. Music if you want to connect to their speaker (we preferred the sound of the waves) together with rose, water and snacks. This was a relaxing trip and Fabio and Kristina were great company. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect from the first email exchanges in April to the cruise in July. Communication at the top
Book with your eyes closed, but open them again for the cruise you will be amazed 🤩

Excellent customized tour with great service - We had an excellent experience! Kristina was immediately responsive over email and WhatsApp when I enquired about their tour options. She was enthusiastic and helpful.
We received detailed information in advance of our tour, and a confirmation message with a helpful map link and very simple instructions the day before.
Fabio (skipper) and Kristina were on time, greeted us on the dock, and we were on our way!
The tour was great. Fabio and Kristina customized to the teens interests, were engaging and knowledgeable, and had some great snacks (including a lovely bottle of rose for the adult in the group ;)
I really appreciated the way that they checked in throughout the tour, kept an eye on the kids in the water, and were keen to show us the beautiful coast of Madeira!
Following the tour, I received a list of restaurant recommendations which is something that I had been asking Kristina about on the boat - a very nice and much appreciated touch!
