- The 3 hour tour is very dependent on how long clients want to remain at each site, we flexible according to the clients needs on tour, each group of clients are different some like to stay at a view point have coffee and spend 45min. So it’s very flexible. We have a route that takes but the clients decides how long they want to spend at each stop. We have time within the 3 hour tour we stop at other view points.

Breathtaking - John our guide was superb, very knowledgeable. We opted to go to the Valley of the Nuns spectacular views ,the ride gives you the opportunity of smelling the natural fauna of the pine and eucalyptus trees, just stunning. Lovely stop for coffee and cake again with stunning views overlooking the amazing gorge and viewpoints .Highly recommend.

Got to do this. - Wow, we had 2 trikes with drivers John and Garth for a 6 hour customised tour to our favourite places,
This is the very best way to see, feel and smell this wonderful natural beautiful island.
Both John and Garth went out of their way to make this special, thank you guys, and yes you will see us again.

Marvelous Madeira - Fantastic 4hr trip. John and Elmo were excellent hosts and very careful and courteous drivers. Very knowledgeable Never felt rushed great that they sent photos at end of day. Local poncho blew my brains out !!! Nice to experience local products. Stunning views at nuns Valley and small fishing place where Churchill painted. Great way to see the island

A really fun way to explore Madeira - This was our first visit to Madeira and we were so lucky to have John as our guide on the 3 hours tour. John knew where to take us and could talk to us about the history. The trikes are very comfortable and for us it was fantastic to be exploring the area on a trike (rather than a car or coach). It's a really fun way to see Madeira and we throughly recommend it.

Amazing trip - Our experience from booking to end were very well organisedand friendly, Garth Picked us up from outside the Ronaldo hotel and asked us what we wanted to do, he was a fabulous guide and very knowledgeable, about the area. We had a thrilling and picturesque ride on his trike, and would highly recommend both the company and Garth, we visited the Miradouro view point, that was very popular with the coach companies, then we went up to the Nuns valley and had time to walk right up to the top on our own.... Well worth the steps up stunning place. Then we went to the small village of Sabores de Curral, that is famous for it's chestnut beer and cheesecake ...it did not disappoint.
Garth then asked us if we wanted to be dropped off at the ship, and as we had docked unexpectedly the night before we said yes as we have been to Funchal a few times now and had seen all we would have wanted on this trip the night before.
We had thought to take coats and I had gloves but Garth did offer us some coates n gloves as the change in temperature as you go high up can be much colder.
A Fabulous 3 Hours and the memories will stay with us for a very long time 🥰🥰

The scenery was beutifull especially in the mountains - Garth the driver was a brilliant guide and very good driver. I highly reccomend him we had a wonderfull trip.This was Lillians best birthday yet and we recomended him to the Niece Sarah who has booked a trip with Adventure trikes for her and her friend they are really lookng forward to the trip on Monday.

Excellent 5 star experience - Thank you John for an amazing trike tour to Nuns Valley. Mum and I had a wonderful time. The views were stunning and John was a perfect gentleman, a safe and considerate driver. Perfect for any age, Mum is 84 years young. The coffee shop cakes were gorgeous, and such good value for money. And the trike seats, oh so comfortable 😌

Thrilling way to see the island. - A thrilling way to see a large part of the island. Went way up the mountains with fantastic views everywhere. Felt very safe with Gorth driving and he was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. Some fantastic photos and wonderful memories.

Brilliant experience! - Brilliant experience! John was a great guide and we had a fabulous ride up to Nun’s Valley viewpoint, then back down into the valley itself! Loved the ride, views and the whole exciting experience!
