Amazing experience - Exceptional communication from the coordinator when we had gotten lost trying to find the correct entrance. We had the more incredible time experiencing the Sumo tournament thanks to Japan Wonder Travel!

Wonderful guide, great experience - Tam Tam was an amazing guide! Her passion for sumo made the experience even more exciting for us. We learned that sumo is as much a ritual as it is a sport. Without her explanations we likely would not have appreciated the experience as deeply. So, it broke our hearts when another group she was guiding at the same time were less than respectful of Tam Tam's explanations and the venue. At the end of the event we cleaned up their garbage that they left on the floor. If our group could, we would have loved to watch the whole tournament with Tam Tam as she was an absolute delight! The whole event was electric! We had two groups of four and the tour accommodated by seating us all together.

Great! - It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed it very much! Our group guide was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the price we paid for the tickets. The A seat tickets that we got were 5'000 yen per seat (the price was included on the ticket), but we paid them 15'000.00 each, hence 45'000 total. We understand that the company should cover their costs, but charging 3 times more is quite a lot.

Good information pack... - Good information pack about the sumo and wrestlers. Timely communication regarding the pickup details. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful. It will be great if other seat options are available in the future.

Unavoidable - Definitely worth seeing once, good turnover between fights, because their preliminaries between participants can be long but still pleasant to see

Great show bad seats - Lots of fun a must see.l, was a highlight of the trip. The guide explained quite a bit so we were able to follow the rules and each match. However the seats were the last row of the arena probably the worst seats in the house. Still a lot of fun

Pricey - The sumo wrestling is amazing. I would always recommend that experience. The tour company was a scam. Sumo tickets sold out in seconds on the direct website so we found this group offering tickets with a guide to explain what was going on. The price was $120 per person, and the tickets offered were listed at around $75 on the official Sumo Tournament site. Since they were sold out, I figured it was worth another $50 to get tickets at all, and on top of that to have a guide. Before the tournament we got an email explaining the tickets were higher up than promised, I did not go back to check the price (shame on me). On the day of the tournament we met our guide and were brought to the last row of the auditorium with a group of 20 others. the tickets were $35 face value, so they charged us $85 per person to share a guide with 20 others in the back of the auditorium. We were pissed! As I mentioned, the sumo tournament is a great experience, and I really couldn't find another way to get tickets, so if you want to go, do your best to comparison shop and find the best deal!

Very disappointing value for Osaka sumo tour. - I do not recommend this tour as it is not worth the price of $120 per person. Four of us attended and we were informed that there would be about 8 per group and that we would get S class seats. There were about 16 in the group and we ended up with B class seats at the very back of the auditorium - they made a mistake and by the time they told us the whole event was sold out so we could not buy our own tickets. The guides did their best but could not really communicate about what was going on effectively due to the large number of people. There were 2 groups sitting together. We wished we have bought tickets at the time of being released and reading around the sumo rules ourselves.
