Miyazaki Gorge trip - This was a full day trip to the Miyazaki gorge with two additional stops at a beautiful, mystical shrine, and a cave along the way. The sites were breathtaking, and our guide Sun was wonderful.

Enjoyable tour - This is the first day tour I have taken and was very pleasantly surprised at how easy and enjoyable it was. Lina our tour guide was very clear with directions and what to expect. She was also very nice and encouraging when one of the hikes was challenging for me. I would recommend this tour to my senior friends as well as my young friends. Well done

Nice way to explore Kyushu without a car - Amazing - Loved this tour! This was an easy way to see some beautiful shrines and experience Takachiho Gorge without a car/driving in Japan. It’s a full day, but the bus is comfortable and air conditioned. The shrines we visited were lovely. We did not see the cave that is apparently under Amanoiwato Shrine, but we saw the above ground part of the shrine which was nice. Not sure how often the guided tours run there? Amanoiwato Shrine and Amanoyasukawara are a short scenic walk from each other. The walk over is gorgeous! Takachiho Gorge Is incredible! Some people were upset because they thought the tour included boat rentals, but that is clearly noted that you need to book it separately via the boat operators website 2 weeks before. It’s hard to gage when you’d arrive but we made it to the gorge around 14:00. The walk into the gorge is worth it, and I wouldn’t say a boat ride would have necessarily made the trip better. It just looked like a bunch of people rowing their boats into each other and trying to figure out how to row a boat for the first time. Seemed stressful in my opinion. I loved being able to just sit in the peaceful area, look at the views, and hear the sounds of the waterfalls. Our driver was very safe. Our tour guide Kaku was nice and gave some great dinner suggestions around Hakata station since you get in around 18:30. The ramen street in Hakata station - second floor (noodle alley) is incredibly delicious- can’t go wrong there for food after your tour 😊

Well worth your time - Very organized and enjoyable. Our guide for the day, Emily, was so helpful and friendly. The amount of time spent at each stop was sufficient enough to enjoy and take photos without feeling rushed.

Adventurous, gladly again - You don't go alone, sometimes there's not enough time to watch everything in peace. Had a lot of information. Very nice service.

I'm so glad. - I really liked the care and kindness of the guide. The tour was also very time-consuming, and we were able to watch each place slowly.

Refreshing - Elvis was great! Tour was awesome, wish could have stayed longer at each stop. Ride was comfortable and stops in between were appreciated.

Not for anyone with mobility issues - While this was beautiful and the guide was very good the overview didn't mention that there were many steps and steep slopes. This is not a suitable trip for anyone with mobility issues and had I known how difficult it was I wouldn't have booked it.

Well organized and well executed journey; must be able to navigate LOTS of stairs - We are so glad we took this long day trip on a large bus to some of the mountains on Kyushu. A very scenic shinto temple with enough time to climb to the top through a dense forest, plus climb down the gorge and stroll along the bottom. Unfortunately for some, another tour booking site said that row boats would be available for rent. Kudos to Trip Advisor for correctly not stating that.

Not all rewards are worth the risk.. - While the places shine in their beauty, the road to get there does not. The guide was fairly unhelpful and barely provided his name. Albus or Elvis I’m not sure. The driver was very aggressive. I also worry that the bus had not been maintained or had gone without an inspection of the struts and shocks. I was being jostled and whipped around to the point of nausea Options for lunch are limited if you stay where they tell you to. Go out into the little town they’re our restaurants in the market with much better options. The guide would immediately get off the bus and start moving. If you were in the back of the bus, the man would be a quarter of a mile down the road before you got off. He would then bark command at you to “come here” like you’re a dog. Very rude and unprofessional. If you don’t mind spending the majority of time in the vehicle, this trip may be worth it. And perhaps things would be different if I didn’t have the same guide and driver. Landscape, the gorge the waterfall are all very beautiful. However, using this agency should make you think twice about who you allow to hold your life in their hands.
