It is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was constructed in 1963 as a peace memorial, situated nearly 400 steps up from the shrine’s main buildings.

• Ensoleille Excursion Ship Pleasure Boat Kawaguchiko - Enjoy a dual experience with a ship cruise and the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway cable car to Kachi Kachi Mountain, offering a close view of Mt. Fuji. The cruise on Lake Kawaguchiko is a 20-minute ride on a large ship, bringing you near Mt. Fuji for a clear view, weather permitting. An additional fee is required for the ship cruise. Alternatively, take photos and proceed to the next spot. The cable car ascends to Kachi Kachi Mountain, providing a close view of Mt. Fuji if the weather is clear.

• Lake Ashinoko - Experience the beauty of Lake Ashi and the renowned Hakone Shrine, famous for its large red torii gate along the lake’s shore, known as the “Gate of Peace” (heiwa no torii). Erected in 1952 to commemorate the crown prince’s reign and Japan’s independence, visitors can enjoy pirate ship rides or the ropeway cable car, with separate entry fees.

• Oishi Park - Located on the north shore of Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park offers a magnificent view of both the lake and Mt. Fuji simultaneously.

• Oshino Hakkai - Known as the Eight Seas of Oshino, these eight ponds are situated in the Fuji Five Lakes area, on the site of a former sixth lake that dried up centuries ago. The ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, filtering through volcanic rock over decades, resulting in crystal-clear, mineral-rich waters. Visitors can enjoy a close, clear view of Mt. Fuji.

• Hakone Shrine / Kuzuryu Shrine Singu - Hakone Shrine (箱根神社, Hakone Jinja) is located at the base of Mount Hakone along Lake Ashi’s shores. The shrine’s buildings are nestled in a dense forest, marked by large torii gates, one prominently in the lake and two others on Moto-Hakone’s main street. A path from the lake’s torii gate leads up steps flanked by lanterns to the main shrine building, peacefully set among tall trees. The shrine is stunning year-round, especially when enveloped in mist. A second shrine, Mototsumiya (“original shrine”), is at the summit of Komagatake, one of Mount Hakone’s peaks, accessible via the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway or hiking trails.

• Hakone Ropeway - The observation platform offers breathtaking views of ‘Owakudani’, Hakone’s most famous tourist spot. The desolate mountainside, covered by plumes of smoke, creates a unique scene reminiscent of the area’s former name, Hell Valley. The Hakone Ropeway ascends above Owakudani, offering many scenic views. Traveling from Sounzan to Owakudani, passengers can see the valley below, and on the route to Togendai, they can enjoy views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi.

We provide an 8-10 hour day tour. If the time limit is exceeded, an additional charge of 5,000¥ per hour applies for our luxury van driver, and 8,000¥ per hour for the minibus. For pickups from Yokohama or Urayasu, an extra fee of 10,000¥ is required due to the greater distance from our standard pickup locations.
