Mt Fuji and Hakone private tour - Our family had a great day out to Mount Fuji and Hakone with our guide Ryu. He suggested we leave early to avoid traffic which was a good idea. He is extremely knowledgeable and has years of experience as a guide in the area. The tour is a good way to get an overview of both areas but if you do have the time I suggest doing Hakone on a seperate day due to travel time between the two areas. Thanks for your kindness and a great day out.

Great - It was wery nice, driver took us where we wanted. It was cloudy so we didn't go to the first station of Fuji but the driver took us to a village side and other nice places.

5 stars all around - We had an amazing time. Our driver, Ryu, was so nice and informative. He had so much knowledge of the area and history and was perfect for leading our family to a memorable and wonderful experience.

Mt.Fuji Experience - The experience was above our expectations. Our tour guide Mr.Ryu arrive with a warm welcome, a friendly smile and a great attitude. Along with his sense of humor and comedy jokes, Mr.Ryu took his guide expertise and gave us the experience that my family and I would never had expected. Due to weather conditions, two of the attractions had to be canceled but that did not stop Mr.Ryu in working his magic. Split second decision and came up with a better plan to make up the two attractions that were closed. Gave us insights of Hakone and the lakes and was well informative. Best tour guide my family and I had ever experience.

Super fun and relaxing experience. I definitely recommend - Super sweet and funny guy. He explained what we were doing and in what order. Gave great recommendations to food places and helped find other places nearby we could do since weather wasn't permitting what we wanted to do. He made things easy to understand when at temples as well. Great conversationalist with a great personality. I really appreciate everything he did

Mt Fuji tour even when you can’t see mt Fuji - Even on a rainy and cold day. Ryu ensured we got the most of our tour. Explained many details from the perspective of a knowledgeable person with the country and mt Fuji.

Excellent day tour with Ryu. Very knowledgeable tour guide. - We had great weather and Mt Fugi clearly visible, it is a very long day and traffic conditions and large crowds can slow down the day.

Not a guided tour for us - I booked this tour thinking this is a guided tour which it clearly states in the “what to expect “ portion . I don’t know if Viator and the tour operator had miscommunications. Our driver is a wonderful and friendly driver but not really a guide . He was very punctual. He brought us to beautiful places but told us how much time to stay in one place and he stayed in the vehicle or was on his phone . It was not a guided tour . We were pretty much left on our own to explore . I was jealous of the other families whose guides were with them in the temples or shrines explaining things to them . I paid $474.00 for this because of the guided tour but we did not have a guide . Just a driver , very friendly but not a guide . He went with us just to one place and took 1 picture for our family which we’re grateful for . After the tour on the way to dropping us off to our hotel , he was asking for a review on the link that he sent me which he said I need to do in 3 minutes but the link was a wrong tour that costs $400. I was not happy about this . I think Viator sent us to the wrong tour operator . Our driver repeatedly asked me to do the review and I told him I will not review the link since it was the wrong tour and not the one I paid for . Asking me to review the link is not very professional in my opinion . I have the prerogative to review or not and to give review in my own time and not demand my opinion right there and then which I found very offensive . Overall , the experience was good except very disappointed that there was no guided tour for us .
