The private tour kicks off at the Shrine of Fatima, a revered site for Catholic worship and pilgrimage. This sacred place was established to honor the 1917 apparition of Our Lady of Fatima to three young shepherds. Initially, the construction started with the Chapel of the Apparitions, but now it includes two additional basilicas to accommodate more visitors.

Around lunchtime, the tour proceeds to Nazaré, a historic fishing village now famous for hosting the world’s largest surfed wave, reaching approximately 30 meters in height. Even those who aren’t surfing enthusiasts will find Nazaré captivating, with its sun-dried fish and varinas (fisherwomen) offering their goods to tourists.

The tour concludes in Óbidos, a charming medieval village featuring castle walls, narrow streets, and whitewashed houses. For those seeking a bit of adventure, a walk along the castle walls is always an option!
