Day group tour from Lisbon - Fatima, Batalha, Nazareth and Obidos. It's hard to go around these places on your own in one day if you come to Portugal, but thanks to Luís , who has 35 years of Guide experience, it was an efficient and enjoyable tour with few points. We had some free time in each place. If I wanted to, I would have liked to see Batalha a little more. Participants included Spain, Brazil and Japan. We didn’t speak each other’s languages, but Luís explained in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and helped us converse with others, which made us feel lonely at the end of the tour saying goodbye to everyone we had spent the day with. The Nazareth peanut cookies that Luís taught me were delicious. It's not easy to buy, but if you get another chance to go to Lisbon, I'd love Luís to Guide you again. It was fun. Thank you very much.

Amazing trip with Luis Pape aka James Bond👍🏼😀 - Amazing tour made extra special with tour guide LUIS PAPE aka Sean Connery - Mr. JAMES BOND. He was very kind. He explained and gave a brief history to places we were passing as well as the sites we visited like Fatima, Nazare, and Obidos. He was very accommodating to our needs too. We loved his sense of humor which kept as all laughing during the trip.

Recommended Tour - The tour is very complete and the company accompanies you along the way, we touch Manuela as a guide that was great, took us to a great place for lunch in Nazaré, everything very well organized and pick you up at the hotel is a great plus, highly recommended the tour

Don’t miss this tour! Was the best experience! - We had an amazing day with Andre!!! He knows his stuff and was very very nice, personable, professional, and fun! He was also a great conversationalist and storyteller! This will surely be a highlight from our vacation. If you want to see a lot in a day, I highly recommend this tour. It truly is a steal for all we did!

A day in Portugal - Had a great time with our tour guide Carla! The day just kept getting better. Fátima is a spiritual experience that leads to a day of beautiful views and a medieval city! Carla even showed us around the city on returning!

Great historical trip! - Fatima held lots of history behind it. Our guide gave us a brief history, which was great, before giving us free time to roam the area. However, I would have preferred if he went inside the big basilica with us and explained what everything is because I do not have a good background on Christianity.

Not worth the trip - This was our worst day trip in Lisbon. The tour was advertised as an English tour and there was supposed to be wifi on board. There was no wifi and only 6 people in the tour group with 3 languages. The driver had to speak 3 languages and his English was poor. He spent most of his time talking with French-speaking tourists and neglected us. He provided minimal explanations and we were mostly left on our own. I would not recommend this tour. I complained to Viator and eventually got a refund

Tour Guide Ruined the Experience - A tour is always made by the way the tour guide interacts with the group. First of all, the tour guide, Manuela, did not come across as very knowledgeable about the tour as evidenced by the lack of information that she gave about the day, the sites and what to expect. The time allotted for Fatima was grossly insufficient given the significance of this holy place and how large it is. Guests need to be oriented to each site so that they do not spend unnecessary time figuring out where to go and what to do. This was not the tour that I would advise devout Catholics to go on since the magnificence of the place just demands quiet reflection. Other tours that offered more time at Fatima were unfortunately sold out for this day. Nevertheless, the allocation of time could have been better served since some of the smaller villages did not have as much to offer, beautiful though they were. Finally, Manuela was not as hospitable and at times was downright rude. Her sense of welcome was evident to certain members of our small group of six and not others. She was obviously quite sick and should have respectfully worn a mask. She assured us that she did not have COVID, but was getting over the flu. She appeared to be getting sicker as the day went on as evidenced by her saying less and less and her incessant coughing. This tour was the thing that I looked forward to the most on this trip - Fatima specifically. I may not come back this way again and I wish it was more pleasant. I had four tours in Portugal and this was the most disappointing. Maybe I need to come back after all :)
