Night dive at Rottnest - I have been on the blue destiny many time as usual it didn’t disappoint. We had a fantastic time on our night dive and a huge shout out to Phil who as usual goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has the best time possible. The whole crew deserves a big thank you for a great night. My daughter was especially happy as she saw her first turtle which was amazing. Do yourself a favour and book your spot on the next available cruise, it never disappoints.

the best dive trips iv ever had - not the first time i have been out on Blue destiny and it will not be my last time, as every diver knows the ocean will provide everything or nothing, the captain always looks for the best spot taking in weather and sea currents, then the rest is up to the ocean. on board the boat its safety first followed by a very nice meal between the first and second dive. we are talking 3 types of salad, 2 types of roast meat with gravy, meat lasagna and vegan lasagna. then there is tea coffee snakes and fruit . its why i always book with them when in Perth

Doing the right thing! - Great, safe, well run day - Weather was not so great on this day, forecast had looked good, plan had been to dive shark cave. Boat full of experienced divers but conditions at site were not what the forecast had led us to hope. No one said it but the unspoken peer pressure and desire to dive would have been felt by the Skippers (I've worked as a dive boat skipper and you hate to disappoint). They made the call, this is winter diving its to be expected. Did another dive, we tried diving shark cave later going over to site as conditions were supposed to improve, still they thought not right and marginal for their boat and customers on the day and made the call (it was not great) . Sure It was a shame and I was disappointed but by nature not by the crew we still had a good day the crew work hard to make it so. The boat is spaceous and comfortable and good value for money. Food is OK, some of it I find not so great and some of it bloody tasty, but love diving off a boat big enough to eat a hot meal. Skipper put us into a quiet bay over lunch which made lunch peaceful and relaxing. While we have come out of lockdown now, the crew also were running around wiping everything down often and had a good strategy to manage risk people spaced out reasonably. I have been diving several years with this boat - this day is a good example why - this may seem a strange way to give a review but my point is you can trust this company to look after you well. PS - I've also done many mind blowingly great dives out at Rottnest with these guys. I recommend them.

Day of champions - Mate, very well professional outfit, but the characters onboard and new faces diving turned it into a wicked dive day full of stories and a crayfish feed at the end of the day, win win

The Trip Advisor reviews are all right - this was an excellent experience! - We went for two fun dives, and a stop-over on Rottnest island after lunch. The experience was fantastic. The boat is spacious, well-equipped, was nowhere near maximum capacity, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The dives were great, although the water was on the cold side and we wished we had hoods on our wetsuits. There was a fairly large surge, which is the nature of this area, but the visibility was good and we saw heaps of marine life. Oh, and they provided a fantastic cooked lunch which was very tasty and there was plenty of it.

Rock Stars of the Ocean! - Fantastic crew; helpful, fun, funny, making the entire day one of the best I've spent in Australia thus far. Rich was my dive guide and he was awesome. He really took great care of me, reviewing hand signals and other diving necessities prior to the dives while making sure I was making my way around alright during the dives and showing me all kinds of cool under water life. Having Rich for my dive guide added to my sense of safety and comfort as this was only the 2nd time I'd been ocean diving since getting certified. The ride back to port there was an excellent food spread (I mean really super delicious) and great conversations/laughs with the owner Lee, and his team Rod, Travis (the skipper), Allison, Joey, and the rest of the passengers. They really made me feel welcome. Before I leave this beautiful country I will absolutely be making another booking with this fantastic crew. Thank you Blue Destiny for making my dive experience so incredible. I'm hooked now and will always be seeking out the best. You're at the top of my list!

A great experience, but diving conditions were difficult. - My wife and I dove with Blue Horizon and Perth Scuba on Jan 16th. The dive operation was very professional and the boat, staff and food were excellent. The dives were not quite as positive. Because I really wanted to see a specific fish at Rottnest Island, I hired a personal guide to assure that I had the best chance of finding the particular species that I wanted to see (Western Talma). The personal guide (MIlan) was super helpful, and he took care of every detail of the excursion. Really nice! The problem was that he had never been diving at Rottnest Island, ever! So he was not able to guide us underwater because he didn't know the dive sites or the undersea life. Both dives were on megaalgae reefs, and both dives had significant swell, which both churned up the sand on the bottom, and made it very disorienting. We became nauseous due to all the movement, and the lack of a horizon. At one point, we felt like we were inside a washing machine full of sand! On the second dive, we actutally came up early, after only 40 minutes. BUT, in the end, we did see the Western Talma, and Milan was the one who found it first. I'm sure that once he has some experience at Rottnest, Milan will be an outstanding guide. We were just unlucky to get his first dive on a difficult day for sea conditions.

Rottnest dives - Unfortunately not the best diving experience for the price paid, lots of strong surg and current, and not much marine life spotted. Spent the majority of the time being buffeted around. On the bright side, the hire gear was high quality, great spacious boat, and very friendly crew with a good lunch! Some preceding bad weather to our dives didn’t help matters re visibility
