• Snow levels at this alpine (rocky mountain) landing site change with the seasons
- Please let us know if you have limited mobility e.g. injury, arthritis or recent surgery? There are two high ladder style steps into the helicopter. This information could effect what helicopter we fly you in.
- Comfort Seats: Our helicopter seats are 40cm wide, an empty seat can be reserved next to you if you prefer extra space (passengers 120KG & over when weighed at check in will be required to purchase a Comfort Seat - these are half the RRP of your flight).
- Please note snow levels on this 25minute flight are seasonal. In summer the alpine landing site may have no snow & be a rocky mountain side. Please book a longer flight option for gauranteed snow.

A great and adventurous trip - A fantastic helicopter tour over the central glaciers at Mount Cook, with good information from the pilot, landing with good opportunities to take photos, and a pleasant and safe pilot. And in good weather the experiences are fantastic.

Exceptional! - Great flight. The weather was dicey so we couldn’t land but the company did everything they could to make sure we got to fly over the Franz Josef. They swapped our landing for a fly over Fox glacier. It was fantastic. Good value too!

Awesome experience - It was an amazing experience with beautiful views. They are quite friendly, but are also focused on passenger safety. Can't wait to do it again on our next adventure to New Zealand!

Bucket list item checked off <3 - Absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny. It was a fantastic experience!
Tip: I definitely recommend signing up for a morning tour as it allows for more wiggle room in case the time has to change due to weather conditions, as was the case for me. I had signed up for an afternoon flight and unfortunately the weather rolling in meant I might not be able to do the original time I booked but fortunately they were able to add me to an earlier flight, but that’s not guaranteed so definitely plan for some wiggle room.
Great communication: The staff did a fantastic job keeping me informed on changes as soon as we realized the weather would pose an issue and they let me know what my options were and worked with me to find an option that worked.

Something you don’t do every day - The afternoon before our next morning 9:45 am helicopter ride I went to their office just to confirm and they mentioned that they have opening for earlier 8:30am flight if we wanted to which we accepted, but there was one problem (not operators) that we would not be able to land on snow because earlier rain washed the snow away, so they gave us 3 options-flight and no landing, pay extra to fly further and land on snow or a full refund. We decided to pay extra and land on the snow and it was worth it the helicopter flight was great. The staff and the pilot were very good, highly recommend .

Amazing experience - I love it! 30 min check in time with information and then we drove to the area of helicopters. We been lucky to get landing after us people could not due bad conditions.

This trip is once in a lifetime, highly recommend! - We originally booked for the 25min flight but upgraded to the 35min on the day due to cloud cover. Staff were extremely lovely and very accommodating. They communicated the issue early and offered multiple options including a full refund if we didn't want to upgrade. We are so glad we did as it was definitely worth every cent. The pilot was great, providing info along the way. To see the glacier on the walking trail is nice, but you haven't seen it until you've dont this trip!

Epic Glacier Flight - This was one of the best things I have ever done when travelling. The helicopter pilot was very experienced, and we had a glacier landing even though the clouds were rolling in. It was exhilarating flying over Franz Joseph above the clouds, just incredible!!

Extraordinary - This is an experience you will do once in a lifetime and will chase you for the rest of your life. We feel lucky to be able to afford this. The landscape you will see during the helicopter flight is just mesmerising. Based on your weight, you will be distributed to bigger or smaller helicopters. The blue ones will accommodate 6 people, which means not all of them will share the same view. At the end of the tour, they will sell you a printed photo with a leaflet. Of course, it's not mandatory to buy, of course, but considering the cost of the trip, it should be included in the price. Still this experience deserves 5+ stars.
