Well Equipped Bikes - Nice Afternoon Ride to Omaha Beach - We walked to LocVelo from Bayeux, it's located just outside the city in an industrial area. Our pre-arraigned e-bikes were ready to go, and they gave us good maps and instructions. The bikes were well equipped with locks and panniers and a universal cell phone holder mounted on the handlebars - so we could do realtime navigation with our own phones and maps. The ride to Omaha beach and the American Cemetary was on small rural roads with hardly any traffic. We easily covered 55 km in the afternoon.

Beautiful ride on the Coast of Normandy - Jean Baptiste a Veloloc was a gem. Helped us with everything with a super friendly smile, the bikes were so easy to operate and light, the bike routes he recommended were stunning and safe. And Jean Baptiste waited for us when we arrived late to return the bikes past. We highly recommend Veloloc.

++ VTC/VAE rental with LocVelo de Bayeux ++ - For the second year, I rented a mountain bike / bike from LOCVELO de BAYEUX and like the first time: excellent experience! I had to deal with the trio Justin + Edouard and Jean-Baptiste who are very competent for everything (welcome, advice, availability). Certainly, when I come back to Bayeux, I will go through this company that gives all satisfaction. Thanks to them. Jacques S-P

Only way to see Normandy - This is the only way to visit the Normandy beaches and the Loc Velo staff were exceptional, spoke English and went out of their way with route planning advice that took us on gorgeous cycle paths and quiet country roads and left us feeling embedded in the landscape. The bikes and general equipment were of high quality. My teenage daughters navigated and enjoyed the experience as much as I did.

Lovell made my day ! - My last day in France and I came up to Bayeux to specifically do the cycle route to Omaha beach. I couldn’t get into the organised groups as I was too late to book so chose to go with a solo trip with an e-bike from Lovcelo. Turned out to be an inspired decision!
I had an excellent day made simple by the excellence of the Lovcelo staff. Bicycle was excellent and the quality of service was top class. Perhaps one or two mishaps with the GPS route but that was likely my miscalculations.
I can’t recommend Lovcelo highly enough!

E Bikes - Great bike ride to Arromanches, easily guided there by Komoot app. We loved the e-bikes, turbo going uphill was fun. Very helpful company, very good service.

Scenic and historic easy to peddle bicycle ride. - We selected Juno beach as our bicycle route. The route was all I hoped it would be. The scenery was beautiful, the small towns, churches and farms made for a wonderful view. And that wasn’t all. Then there was all the historic stuff about D-Day landing.

The perfect bike rental - I did a three-day rental from Loc Velo in Bayeux and had a wonderful experience. It was my first time on a full-day or multi-day bike ride. In advance of the rental, they were very professional in their advice. They advised and selected the perfect bike for me. Their instructions were very complete. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

Problem overcome - There was a lack of communication between Viator and the Velo rental. They didn’t have my reservation. Fortunately, they had two electric bikes available.
