Your journey begins with a pickup from the Gran Meliá Iguazú Hotel and a trip across the Brazilian border to visit the Parque das Aves. This is the city’s second most popular destination, attracting over 800,000 visitors yearly. The park offers an intimate experience with a variety of birds such as toucans, macaws, scarlet ibises, flamingos, and parrots. A paved walkway, approximately 1.5 km long, traverses through the rich and diverse Atlantic Rainforest. Following this, we proceed to the Macuco Boat Safari. Here, you’ll ride an electric car through the forest and then a boat through the tumultuous Iguassu River rapids, reaching the falls. Next, you’ll explore the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Falls, the world’s largest collection of waterfalls, featuring 275 cascades within the Atlantic Rainforest.
The entire excursion will take around 9 hours. Upon completion, you’ll be returned to your hotel. Please note that meals and beverages are not provided. However, restrooms and souvenir shops are available onsite.
