Mosque of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab - Visiting the Arab mosque Omar Ibn Al-Khattab offers an experience of cultural and religious diversity in an atmosphere of total respect and harmony. Inaugurated on March 23, 1983, its architecture was inspired by the second largest sacred center of Islam, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem. It is white in color as a uniform shade and was created by the Muslim Arab community in Foz do Iguaçu, which is the second largest in Brazil. It is a magnificent temple, a symbol of religion. It can be seen from afar for its architecture and its towers (minarets) 15 meters high. It is decorated with religious-inspired abstract art with various drawings, abstract figures, and paintings with suras from the Koran.

The architecture is Chinese, as the order to which this temple belongs is originally from China. In the entire external area of the temple, it is possible to take pictures and film, but not in the internal part.
Chen Tien Temple is hosted by the image of Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha of Infinite Light. Right at the entrance, visitors can see his image made of copper, 10 meters high.
There are also 108 identical images, 2.5 meters high, with hand gestures symbolizing welcome and meditation. Each of these represents one of the Buddha’s incarnations on earth.
Catedral Diocesana Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe - The Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Diocesan Cathedral is strategically located at one of the highest points in the city of Foz do Iguaçu-PR. The choice of location was with the intention of building it on the mountain which, for Christians, is the place close to God, after all, on Mount Moses received the 10 commandments (Mount Sinai) and it was in the mountains that Jesus sought the presence of the Father through his prayers (Mount of Olives and Beatitudes).
The Cathedral strengthens the devotion to the patron saint of Latin America, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and in its modern construction, it has three equal doors symbolizing the equality of the three peoples who live here on the triple border. Each of them represents a people: the Brazilian, the Paraguayan, and the Argentinian.
