At 4am, a Portuguese-speaking guide warmly welcomes guests in the hotel reception area. The tour features shared transportation via an air-conditioned mini-bus to and from the destination. The 5-hour journey to Jijoca, a quaint city 300km from Fortaleza, begins, with an expected arrival between 9:30am and 10am.

In Jijoca, guests transfer to an open-back/open-air 4x4 tour truck, locally known as a jardineira. The first stop is the stunning Lagoa Paraiso, Jericoacoara’s most popular day trip spot. Visitors can unwind in a hammock, enjoy the scenery, and have lunch and a tropical drink (not included) at a lakeside restaurant.

Around 2pm, the guide and group board the jardineira to travel over dunes to Pedra Furada, the iconic symbol of Jericoacoara. Guests can walk down the paths from the cliffs overlooking the sea to capture photos. Sunblock and sandals are advised.

At 3:30pm, the next stop by jardineira is Jericoacoara Vila and Beach, renowned as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. In the village, guests can explore the shops before gathering and heading to the breathtaking beach.

At 5:30pm, the group ascends the Sunset Dune, offering spectacular views in every direction over the beach and national park, including some of the highest dunes in northeast Brazil. It is also considered one of the best spots in the country to watch the sunset.

At 6pm, the group gathers to begin the return journey to Jijoca and Fortaleza, with an expected arrival at the hotel between 10pm and 11pm. Times and duration may vary due to traffic and group size.

Begin with a shared hotel pickup in a mini-bus under guidance of a Portuguese-speaking guide. Take some time to soak in the view, relax under the sun, and swim in the transparent waters. No meals will be provided. Afterwards, pay a visit to Pedra Furada, the iconic symbol of Jericoacoara. From there, head to the Jericoacoara village and beach, acclaimed as one of the globe’s most breathtaking beaches. Witness the stunning views in all directions from the Jericoacoara Sunset Dune at sunset. This day trip spans 18 hours and is limited to a group of 15 people at most.
