Brilliant Trip to Scotland & Isle of Skye - Couldn’t Be Merrier! - We just finished a wonderful three-day tour in Scotland just before Christmas with Paul Santa, and we can’t recommend him enough! From the moment he picked us up in Edinburgh, it was clear we were in for an unforgettable experience. Paul Santa struck the perfect balance between sharing fascinating historical insights, showing us breathtaking sights, and keeping us entertained with his humor and stories. He has an incredible way of making history come alive while making the journey fun for everyone. His playlists added such a special touch, and he truly made the experience feel personal. He went above and beyond to ensure our family of four had a memorable trip. Amazingly, we even got a glimpse of Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster too!! If you’re looking for someone who knows Scotland inside and out and genuinely cares about giving you the best possible experience, Paul Santa is your guy! Thank you, Paul Santa, for an amazing adventure.

Amazing Tour Experience! - We went on this tour in December as a family, including a young child, and had an absolutely fantastic time. Our tour guide, Mark, was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable for all of us. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the tour. The itinerary was well-planned, and we appreciated the mix of interesting information and fun activities. It was both educational and entertaining, making it perfect for families. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free experience. It’s great for all ages, and we’ll definitely be booking with them again in the future!

Isle of Skye-Timberbush - The tour to isle of Skye provided from timberbush was amazing. Both Andrew and Sean the tour guides were very friendly and throughout the trip had a lot of knowledge of the place and history. They also at times told the best (worst) jokes and creating a fun time. The tour took us to the best spots on isle of Skye for some of the best views of the landscape. It’s truly an amazing place. Would highly recommend Timberbush to others.

An unforgettable excursion - Hello, my family and I have done this 3-day tour to the lands of Scotland last week. It's been really amazing. The trip is long, but our great guide, Aleix, makes it really interesting. You can tell he loves his profession and this country. While enjoying unforgettable landscapes and charming places, we have enjoyed nature in all its glory: waterfalls, valleys, cliffs, lochs, ... In addition he gives us clear and concise explanations of the history of Scotland, very enjoyable and interesting. All this enlivened with music related to the places we were passing, make you feel like being in another part of the world...Aleix has a lot of time. It can be seen that he knows a lot and enjoys his work and transmits it, as well as being a very good driver. We had a great time and enjoyed it a lot. Thank you Aleix. Thank you 😊😊

Amazing experience - Absolutely delighted to have Martin as our guide for the 3 day Loch Lommod/ Isle of Skye/ Scottish Highlands/ Loch Ness trip. Martin was very knowledgeable about the Scottish history and shared interesting anecdotes as he drove us to the different destinations. He was also very thoughtful and considerable to park the bus at places that were more convenient for my older parents. The Scottish music playlist that he played on the bus were so apt for the stories he told or the destinations we just visited. Overall the experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend this for my family/ friends!

Unfortunate experience to otherwise lovely tour - I believe tour itself was good - some beautiful places and fun things planned into the route, however we had an unfortunate incident which left us feeling some type of way. In regards to the tour: interesting places planned along the way, however some of them timed too short to allow for a full experience. We were excited to visit Portree with its iconic colourful shoreline houses, however we have managed to spend only about 1h in town during daylight, during which we only about had time to grab lunch. Otherwise we were leaving early (still dark) and coming back late (already dark) so we didn't actually get to see Portree itself at all as places also closed extremely early. I understand that this is not an issue in the summer, however in the winter this could be adjusted by the guides. On the other hand, we spent about 40 minutes at a whisky distillery, but only 1 person out of 15 people really enjoyed whisky. 40 minutes were not enough to go for the 1 hour tour of the distillery on offer so the entire group spent the time wondering gift shop and just sitting about waiting for the 40 minutes to pass. It would have been much better if the extra time was spent in Portree. Our guide Jim was lovely, very friendly and full of interesting stories along the way. We had an unfortunate accident during the trip in which our bus crashed into the ditch on the way up to the Skye. Whilst the driver did absolute best to land the bus safely, I believe we were going too fast on a progressively more slippery road as it started to snow heavily, but the driver did not slow down in time. Thankfully, everyone was unahrmed in the end but it lost us a significant portion of the day and gave us some anxiety travelling in various weather conditions over the next 3 days. We are currently very disappointed with Timberbush tours as they offered the group partial refunds due to the incident, however it's been over several weeks since the end of the tour and we're yet to receive any refunds. Any attempts to contact Timberbush to clarify were ignored - not a single reply over several weeks. I understand that this was a one-off experience however being ignored by the company in this instance is less than professional and I can only hope other people from our group had better experience.
