Best day ever! - Mark was so knowledgeable about so many things and shared the information in an interesting way. We did the 4 hour excursion, and even though we had never kayaked before, we felt comfortable with his instructions. He was patient and encouraging. During the portion of the day where we were paddling, he took pictures and videos for us and then airdropped them to our phone. We even got to see a manatee! Mark communicated with us the day prior via email and text. Very thorough and professional. Our trip was definitely personalized. No others had signed up for the day we had booked but he still took us out. So nice! I would definitely recommend Mark and his business, Rivers to Ocean Kayaking, to anyone interested. Thank you again for a wonderful day!

Don’t miss this one! - NOT your typical rushed kayak tour. Don’t even think about going with a different company unless you want something LESS! A truly unique and unforgettable experience. Mark, owner of Rivers to Ocean Kayaking, was so honest with me from the very beginning. My grandniece (15 years old) and I called and left a message to book a 6 or 8 hour tour. When Mark returned my call, he advised me that the waters were experiencing a negative tide and there was not as enough water to navigate and was unable to offer us a 6 or an 8 hour so we booked a 4 hour tour and selected a date (complete honesty). Mark was incredibly equipt (excellent kayaks, extremely light weight paddles, comfortable padded seats with backrests, magnet motorized propellers with wrist controllers) and was very knowledgeable about the area (we were well informed about how to identify and the purpose of protected & invasive animals and wildlife such as; Red Mangroves, Black Mangroves, White Mangroves, Australian Pines, Broadleaf Seagrass, Sea clams, Sea oysters (ex. learned that a single adult oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water per day, how each Mangrove expels salt and provided us with hands on experiences) Sea grasses, Sea sponges, Sea Purslane, Florida Fighting Conch Shells, Queen Conch Shells, Stiff Pen Shells, Horseshoe Crab, Sea Green Turtles, Puffer Fish, Sting Rays, Striped Mullet, Osprey, Egrets, Blue Cranes, Herons, high tide, low tide and everything in between)and provided great instruction on controlling the kayaks! Our round trip tour began at Pepper Park Beach (where we got in and pushed off from the beautiful shoreline and kayaked pathways along the Fort Pierce inlet area, while learning information on the history of Navy Seals/former Frog Men, the pumping systems and their purpose of controlling mosquito populations) and traveled all the way through the mangroves, several sandbars (where we were able to get out and explore several times) and then on to the intercoastal waterway (where we were able to take a big break, have some snacks from our small cooler and swim). The motorized trip back was super relaxing and allowed for even more time for photos! Mark also texted us photos that he had taken on our trip. We cannot wait to return and do it again! We had a blast!

Perfect day! - I had an incredible time on today’s kayak excursion! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and so enjoyable. Mark was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, whether you were a beginner or more experienced. The scenery was absolutely stunning — peaceful waters, beautiful wildlife, and a relaxing pace that made it easy to really soak in the experience. I especially appreciated the dry bad Mr Mark offered us. The kayaks were so comfortable with plenty of room. The propeller made the trip so easy and stress free. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a unique way to explore the area. Can’t wait to do it again!

Excellent kayak tour! - We took the 4-hour guided kayak tour with Mark. It was fantastic! We saw dolphins 🐬 swimming near us in the Indian River estuary, lots of marine and wildlife, got some really cool shells, explored some mangroves, then we motored back in the kayaks to end the day. Mark is very informative and narrates your tour. Would definitely go again!

Amazing experience! - My husband, our teenage and I and three of our friends had an amazing and memorable day on the water! The weather on the day for our originally booked tour was supposed to be pretty windy, and three days before the tour we got a message from Mark with the advice to reschedule the trip for another day, which we did without hesitation. None of us had much of the experience of kayaking before, but we had a truly fun time traveling the river ways, guided by Mark, who was very attentive to everyone. We learned so much about wild life, plants, and history of the area! We saw a mating pod of seven or eight manatees swimming around our boats, spotted a few dolphins, encountered some sea turtles, small sharks, sting rays, beautiful herons and even a huge queen conch, a marine snail in a beautiful shell. Our tandem kayaks were very comfortable considering hours of sitting, and all the gear was of good quality. Noticing that we were having so much fun, Mark did not rush us, and we ended up spending more time than was originally planned. After the trip was over, we visited a great local restaurant following Mark's suggestion! This experience was well worth every penny!

Great kayak trip - Fantastic kayak trip with Mark and Fabia who were really lovely and looked after us and were also very informative. Kayaks were so comfortable and the return journey with the motors was really fun. We saw dolphins, a manatee, a sea hare and many turtles amongst other creatures. So glad we did the trip and even our 17 year old son enjoyed it! Thank you. Family from UK.

Worth every penny - This trip is worth the money and more. First Mark was kind enough to wait when we were 15 minutes late. The rest of the day was wonderful, we saw dolphins, sea turtles, and best of all a pair of manatees popped up right under our kayaks. The kayaks were really comfortable with high seat backs and the route was not strenuous on a breezy day. He actually extended the trip almost 90 minutes because nobody in the group was in a hurry to get back, so I would suggest bringing a little more water and sunscreen than you think you might need. It really was the highlight of our short trip to Cocoa Beach area and he sent us great photos to show for it.
