Awesome Journey with Mark and Fabia! - My daughter (12) and I had a great day with Mark and Fabia! We took the 6 hr tour which was the perfect amount of time we needed to explore the mangroves and estuary. We learned so much from Mark about the marine life (stingrays, puffer fish, jellyfish, shore birds, crustaceans, aquatic flora, especially mangroves and Austrailian Pines, etc). Mark's breadth of knowledge is remarkable and he is a great enviornmentalist teacher. Fabia is a lovely person who took awesome pictures of the entire journey. I really appreciated the special attention she paid to my daughter. The fish at our lunch stop, the legendary Little Jims, was great! They have gluten free options which was perfect since my daughter is allergic to gluten. If you are taking the journey in the summer months bring plenty of cold water as it gets very hot as the day goes on. Overall, I highly recomend this adventure with Mark and Fabia, you can not ask for better teachers/hosts.

What an exciting time spent exploring the historic Mangroves of Queens Island Preserve! - We decided to take an adventure, while visiting my mother in Fort Pierce. Kayaking made the list, and we are so happy, we found Rivers to Ocean!! Myself, my son and mother chose the 6hr tour and were so glad we did! From booking our trip to returning to home, Mark and Fabia were by our side making sure we were prepared with all essentials and education needed to safe navigate our way! Even when we forgot our water, they had extra to make sure we were taken care of! They were more than just our tour guides; their genuine excitement for our experience, made our trip feel like we were spending the day with extended family! And what better way to spend the day, than in a kayak learning about and exploring firsthand the Mangroves, stingrays, dolphins, and all the nature that Queens Island preserve has to offer!! Thank you Mark and Fabia for the Wonderful time spent! We highly recommend you get out of the water with these two for a good time spent!

Best day of our vacation! - It’s amazing to find an untouched slice of nature in a busy area, and this tour was it! Our guides led us through beautiful mangrove tunnels and shared fascinating facts about the area. It was so much more than we expected! The pace was easy and there was never a rush, we stopped on some sandbars and followed some dolphins for a while. The lunch break was just long enough and the return with the motors into the jungle added to the enjoyment. I highly recommend anyone looking for a day out, pick this tour!

A perfect day!! - What an amazing tour with Mark and Fabia! We started in the mangrove preserve that was like stepping into a different world. They answered all of our questions and provided a lot of knowledge. The water was beautiful and we really enjoyed the sandbar breaks. Along the way we saw crabs, birds, fish and a couple dolphins. The motor return was the icing on the cake! It was a perfect day!

Worthy of a five star review!! - Highly recommend any of the kayak tours with Mark and Fabia! We had scheduled the six hour tour, but unfortunately the high winds prevented that from happening. Mark is an excellent communicator, and made sure we were aware of the possibility of a shorter tour the day prior. He also gave us the option of canceling if we had wanted to. We chose to go on a shorter tour and were very pleased with that! Not only are Mark and Fabia extremely knowledgeable about the habitat, water, and mangrove forests, they are also extremely lovely people!

A Great Anniversary Trip! Definitely Doing Again!! - A fabulous, up close view of the spectacular and secluded aquatic life among the mangroves. The love for the outdoors was on full display with our tour guides. They are veterans in kayak tours but were as enthusiastic about the wildlife sights and sounds as we were. Their knowledge continually impressed and the photos and videos they provided wonderfully captured every moment. Looking forward to the next time.

Rivers to Ocean Kayaking - Excellent! - Book it!! Rivers to Ocean Kayaking is a top notch operation and I thoroughly enjoyed the 6 hr adventure. Mark and Fabia are fantastic guides and share their knowledge on local flora and fauna and the history of Fort Pierce throughout the journey. We saw numerous bird species and also crabs and quite a few dolphins. Excellent lunch and many opportunities throughout the tour to get out and wade or swim. I was a solo traveler, but the 6 hr trip would be excellent for families too - don’t be intimidated by the length. A beautiful day!

The Best part of our Florida vacation! - Mark and Fabia exceeded our expectations, offering a unique experience in dense mangrove tunnels that created a jungle-like atmosphere far from civilization. We were pleasantly surprised to be the only ones, making it a truly immersive nature experience. The leisurely paddling pace allowed us to observe lots of large and small animals like crabs, jellyfish, and and dolphins. The perfect lunch break at a landmark marina and peaceful motorized return made it our best day in the area—a highly recommended and outstanding tour! PS: We received amazing pictures after the tour from them.

Great experience! - Amazing experience. Mark is very knowledgeable about flora and fauna in the area. Saw many spieces (puffer fish, stingray, crabs and even followed a Dolphin!). They are very patients and even had fish net and toys for my kids who were not paddling.
