Jet boat Fun! - We had a great tour with Captain Rich. He was informative, safe and fun. We were able to see multiple alligators and the jet boat ride was comfortable. Highly recommend the tour and captain Rich.

Excellent experience - Came here on a trip and really enjoyed it ! The park is very well run and they clearly care about the Everglades ! Saw lots of gators and other wildlife ! Would definitely recommend, the only thing I don’t like is the tipping culture !! It’s like begging ! Please stop this as it’s unnecessary! We tip if we want to not because the airboat captain feeds a story !

- It was a memorable experience. I was able to take a lot of pictures. It was actually tamer than I expected. I was a little leery, but no scary encounters.

Strongly recommend! - I spent 50.00 one way on a cab so my daughter (who is developmentally delayed) could see alligators. It was worth every cent. The grounds are amazing as well as the staff. My daughter got to hold a baby alligator while the handler explained all about the alligator. She was ecstatic! The staff were simply amazing to Amara. They took their time with her which reduced both our anxiety. We also took the airboat-saw plenty of alligators, although the guide said he couldn't make any promises. There was an older gentleman who had a difficult time getting off the boat-staff were already at the pier when we docked, ready to assist him. It was great day! Patricia Coon

Saw gators, good tour group - Great tour! So interesting to see what Florida swampland looked like before all the development. Saw a handful of gators swimming which was pretty cool. It was a little difficult to hear the tour guide when there were airboats running in the area but that is to be expected. Very friendly and helpful crew. Would recommend!

- I joined the Everglades boat tour on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM, followed by the animal show from 11 to 12. While the scenery was undeniably beautiful and we did see four alligators during the ride, the experience was a Little undermined by the behavior of our driver, Juan. Juan, around 5’9”, strongly built and tanned, started the tour by stating that smoking was prohibited on the boat. Fair enough—until he lit a cigarette himself shortly after, smoked during the ride, and then casually tossed the cigarette into the water. Aside from the hypocrisy, this is a clear violation of Florida’s littering laws, which prohibit throwing anything into freshwater or coastal waters. As the operator, Juan directly broke that law. While passing one the alligators, only a few people on one side of the boat noticed it. Normally, the guide would ensure everyone gets a good look, but when I turned to see what Juan was doing, he was on his cellphone—during the paid tour. That felt both unprofessional and disrespectful. At the start of the trip, he failed to mention that the boat floor could get wet, so my shoes and feet ended up soaked. He also never asked if anyone could swim or if anyone wanted a life vest—something I would have expected as a basic safety precaution. To top it off, while docking the boat, he rammed into another one with enough force to nearly throw me forward and hit my head. Not exactly the kind of ending that leaves you feeling relaxed. Oh, and back in the bay at the start of the tour, there were turtles swimming around—beautiful creatures—but Juan didn’t bother pointing them out or making sure everyone saw them. It was like he couldn’t be bothered. The Everglades themselves are stunning, and the wildlife is worth seeing. It was still a Nice Ride but it could have done better.

Nice park but poor business practice - The park is nice and well maintained. However, the airboat tour was very short and definitely not 60 minutes as advertised on their website. The boat guide was friendly and knowledgeable though. What really ruined the experience was how they upsell/handle the photos. Before boarding the boat, your picture is taken and you collect it at the end of the tour at the gift shop. We were told that we would get a free photo with this tour. As a group of 7 (3 couples and 1 individual), we took a group photo and expected at least 4 photos. However, we only received 2 photos. We went back to the gift shop to try to get another photo with this rationale but the lady we spoke with was abrasive and said that it’s their business practice to only give 2 photos and if we wanted more, she could “shred our 2 group photos and then you can go back and take individual couple photos”. After a few minutes, she threatened to call the police if we did not leave.

Do not purchase tickets through Sightseeing Pass - The Park was okay. The lady at the front was abrupt and a bit rude- refused to honor Sightseeing Pass purchase so had to rebuy it. Not helpful or empathic. Waited an hour to board the boat but our guide was wonderful. (Tyler)

Captain of our boat is a bully and antisemite. - A 6 mo. pregnant woman asked to not sit in the last row (next to the engine), and the Captain, a blond, loud obnoxious bully purposely placed her in the last row. I feel like suing because she was obviously a religious Jew. He also was bullying a woman in her 60s because the woman asked a question that he mistook as offensive. He humiliated her repeatedly before and after the boat ride. I'm considering getting an attorney or the local news involved, because we were a party of 8 and everyone witnessed his despicable behavior.
