• Flores - The guide will meet you at your hotel, using the name of the main traveler for identification.

If you arrive at Mundo Maya Airport on the day of the tour, our staff will be at the departure area with a sign displaying your name for easy recognition. Today, the vehicle and guide are exclusively for you.

Begin the journey with a 1 hour and 30-minute drive to Tikal.

• Tikal National Park - The hike will cover approximately 6 km, allowing time for rest, photography, and climbing permitted structures, all at your own pace.

Tikal boasts around 5,000 pre-Hispanic buildings over an area of about 16 km2. Our expertly crafted tour covers 70% of the site. Tikal is renowned for its monumental structures, with a continuous occupation spanning 1,700 years (800 BC to 900 AD), during which it played a pivotal role in the social and political organization of the lowlands.
The hike will be shaded, offering opportunities to observe numerous birds and monkeys along the way.

At the end of the tour, return to Flores or Mayan World Airport.

• Great Plaza - The heart of Tikal, where you can spend up to an hour admiring the impressive temples of this great civilization. Your guide will share architectural details, functions, and construction dates of these buildings.
  In the large square, you will discover the Great Jaguar Temple, Temple II of the Masks, Northern Acropolis, and Central Acropolis, the largest residential and administrative area.
• Tikal Temple III - Also known as the Jaguar Priest’s Temple, this was the last structure built in Tikal in 810 AD, with only the top restored.
• Temple IV - The Temple of the Bicephalous Serpent, also known as Temple IV, is a ceremonial burial temple constructed in 741 AD by the Mayan civilization, representing one of the largest constructions of the late classical Tikal period.
• Lost World - The Lost World is the largest ceremonial complex of the preclassic era in the great Mayan city of Tikal. The complex is organized as a large astronomical complex and includes a pyramid aligned with an eastward platform that forms the base for three temples.

It also features a 32-meter high pyramid that is open for climbing.

• Tikal National Park - After exploring the breathtaking Tikal, enjoy lunch at one of the finest restaurants. Then return to Flores.
