Great in depth tour for art history fans! - This turned out to be a tour for just me and my husband. The guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the museum’s art. Provided great context and in depth information to help us get the most of what we were seeing. The early start helped minimize the crowds. Our guide worked from the end to the beginning so we could have the best view of all the most popular paintings. Greatour if you are an art lover!

Truly outstanding experience - We were lucky enough to be in the ultimate small group, with just 2 in a mid-afternoon tour guided by Gianna. The tour started with a discussion of the Uffizi and an explanation of its parts before we passed security and started on the art. If all the other guides are even half as knowledgeable as Gianna, any tour will be a winner, as she displayed near encyclopedic knowledge of the art and history in the Uffizi and the concepts involved. Listening to an analysis of a painting and then turning around and looking at a similar picture from a different artist or era is eye opening, and greatly expanded our understanding of the development of art, especially between 1200 and 1800. The works on display are overwhelming, but Gianna carefully wove a narrative through the galleries and rooms that allowed us to truly get much more from this visit than we ever would have expected. The ultimate ability to wander a bit on our own after the tour concluded was a very welcome bonus that is often not allowed on these guided tours. Highly recommended.

Uffizi guided tour. - A private tour of Uffizi is a must due to its massive collection. Elisabetta our guide was super knowledgeable and truly made this experience so much better. She was able to answer a lot of historical questions we had about the Uffizi and the Medici family and even recommended a book that is an easy read about them. I would highly recommend this tour with Elisabetta.

AMAZING Don’t hesitate to book! - Worth every penny! Gianna was the most knowledgable guide you could wish for. The Uffizi has thousands of pieces of art and it’s so easy to be overwhelmed or not appreciate a single piece of art without context. However Gianna guided us through the gallery showing us the highlights coupled with the socioeconomic history of the time which really helped regards our level of appreciation and understanding. I would give this tour 100%, don’t hesitate to book… bang to buck this is the best valued tour we’ve been on. Some of our participants had to leave early and we were super fortunate to then have a private guided tour with Gianna, it’s clear she has such a passion for art history and a vast data base of knowledge as we were asking random questions about any artwork yet she knew the painter the patron and the dates etc. she was incredible! Thanks for making our trip to the Uffizi unforgettable

Uffizi skip the line small group tour - Fantastic guided tour. Amazing guide who was the most enthusiastic tour guide we have ever had. She truly knew and loved the Uffizi it was a passion you could feel coming off of her. She deftly navigated us getting in to the galleries and spent much time imparting her deep and thorough knowledge to us. We got to see all the high lights but also lots of other pieces that really helped tell the story of how the museum was established and how it has grown. Given the crowds our tour guide was happy to offer to continue the tour beyond the allotted time to ensure we got to see what was on the itinerary. We have done lots of tours this trip in Rome, Florence and Siena but this one really stood out and her parting list of additional works worth seeing and local recommendations for lunch etc made it our all time favorite Thank you

Tuscany/Renaissance 101 - We took this tour the first morning we arrived in Italy and it helped set the tone for our entire trip! Our tour guide (Suzanne?) was extremely knowledgeable and took us step by step from how the Uffizi came to be and how the Renaissance shaped art, the region and Italy. It was about 90 minutes. We then had cappuccino and pastry at the rooftop café overlooking the Duomo and Florence. A perfect morning! Thanks Suzanne, Viator and Keys of Italy!
