Well organized tour - Well organised lovely lunch in Sienna. Time in Beautiful San Gimignano, great wine tasting event in Chianti Classico with wine, bread and cheese. Finally a short stop off in Pisa. I absolutely loved this trip and would definitely recommend to anyone wondering if they should book it. The people and area were absolutely lovely and the world famous Dondoli gelato was delicious!!

Best service - This trip was booked by via a third vendor and I am extremely grateful when I had to rebook, I had a good company as the local company. We went to Pisa, San G., and Sienna with lunch.

Decent option for limited time - Decent option to hit major attractions on limited time. We were able to see Pisa, Siena, a winery and san gimignano in a well paced trip. Viator does not provide clear instructions about the meeting place, it appears to be at the Florence train station however it’s actually at the bus depot 30 mins away which requires a tram to arrive. When selecting the tour this was very misleading until we arrived at the tram station and were told by another guide from a different company that we need to get on the tram until the bus depot. There is also a trolley in Pisa which should of been included in the total package price.

Read the reviews, beautiful day but unexpected changes - I've taken my time to think on this (even though Viator was quick to request my opinion) due to the nature of the tour being all together pleasant - but not at all what I was expecting. For starters, I had communicated with one of your representatives over what's app the night before, as much to my surprise - the meeting point, listed as an address at the train station - being very central to Florence - was not at the train station as originally expected. Meeting - usually means what it sounds like - where you meet your guide. No, this tour, I repeat, does NOT meet at the train station. Small asterisks indicate the departure point is a minimum 20 minute tram ride away. That's besides the point of somewhat misleading advertisement - oh well. We made it to the DEPARTURE point, and it's on me that I didn't read every review prior to booking this which describes the departure point being away from the main city. The cost that we paid however, doesn't exactly lend itself to the inconvenience of that journey (to and from the city center) where we were further misled by the Viator description. Under "what's included" - it's listed as Travel by GT coach or minivan (and again, on me - maybe I should have googled GT coach more in depth) - but we were expecting a small tour - as Viator described the tour as a 12 person MAX tour. The tour had at least 29 people - which prompted the giant coach. Again, for the price of the tour we paid, this is precisely the opposite of what we were looking for. We were not the only ones to experience this issue. At least 2 other couples were misled - one saying their tour was only meant to be 4 people maximum. Other people on the tour paid 44% less than we did, and got the same day. My other family members and I have used Viator in the past (including one just 3 days prior that was beyond our expectations and lovely) but this experience makes me reconsider booking through your site again. The day started in Siena - where the tour description again is misleading/quasi false advertisement, at one point saying "self guided" and one point "guides will give you a taste of the monuments" and continues to imply that it's at least a partially guided tour. There was one of those for some members of the group, we were not on that list. The rest of the day was as described - though the implications on your tour description should really be firmed up (saying admission to Pisa is free - it's free to everyone). One of the other reviews saying "bait and switch" couldn't be more correct. Regardless - this tour gets more than one star as it was mainly still a nice day and the guides were informative for the most part. However, we feel like some form of partial compensation is warranted, as what we PAID for - was not provided. My mother has lung issues, and we tried to take every precaution to prevent large group settings where we could - paying EXTRA to do so. "My group in Italy" - not Florence Adventures as listed in your tour description - did their best, but it seemed like they were slightly blind sided as well. If we had known prior to showing up at the bus depot that the tour would have be double the size than what we paid for - we would have most definitely cancelled.

Do not book with this operator - Do not trust this operator. We booked this tour, but was put with a group of 75 other people. Note we are the THIRD person to leave a review saying this. It was a double decker bus, and since there was so many people a lot of time was spent checking in and out, with little time to explore. Also, the other tour costs $72/person. Florence Adventures sold our tour to them, and didn’t even refund the difference. Choose a different operator.

We Were Scammed...Pick a Different Tour Operator - We booked this small group tour with lunch in Sienna. Got all the typical confirmations, up to and including the morning of the tour. When we got to the meeting place (which they changed from Piazza della Stazione to the end of the metro line), no one from Florence Adventures was there. After seeking help from My Tour Italy people, it turned out that Florence Adventures farmed us out to them. Not a small group, but a big tour bus, and we got the last three seats (only because some people didn't show up!). Lunch wasn't where the promised, and the other people on the tour paid half as much as we had! Book with My Tour Italy instead!

Bait and Switch - We booked this trip over a month ago and got confirmation from Florence Adventures (FA) telling us they would meet us at the tram stop. When we got there no one from FA was there. The nice people from My Tours Italy (MTI) called them for us and found out no one was coming. Apparently FA sent an email at 2 am that morning asking them to put us in their tour. No one was aware of that request and no one told us. I also discovered that our small group “All In One” tour was now a 50% less expensive MTI group tour. Very disappointing. MTI guides were nice and accommodating but we were squeezed into the last seats on the bus. Now I have to work on getting a refund. Viator, as the agent, failed me.

Not the tour I signed up for - buyer beware - The tour that I booked was not the one i received. I specifically booked a small group tour <12 people and paid over $674 for 4 people. Instead - I was herded on a bus with over 50 people and not given any private tours that I was promised. I would never have signed up for such a crowded tour, that what why I was willing to pay more. The other people on the tour only paid $70/person for this big bus tour. When I reached out to trip advisor - they only compensated me about $30/person. I still ended up paying $138/person for the most crowded/rushed/least informative tour of my entire Italy trip. I was very disappointed with how they handled it.
