Find Giancarlo and let the magic work. - GIANCARLO!
He was the best tour guide we could have asked for!!! He was accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. He was also hilarious!

Tuscany day drip from Florence - Victoria was great. Very informative answering any questions anyone had. He also kept a good place and make sure we were all there. Our driver Domenico was excellent, it was a lot of driving and lots of curvy roads. I always felt safe.

A Fabulous Day Out - This excursion is everything (and more) that ‘Walk About Tours’ say it is. Gabriel gave excellent, interesting and informative commentary as well as caring for our welfare; Gaspair drove us safely to each destination; the lunch showcased delicious local cuisine and produce (food and wine); and the scenery and historic locations we visited were stunning! We were away for nearly 13 hours - the day is worth every cent! Too good to be true (you think): well there’s quite a bit of walking, often on uneven ground so it would not suit anyone with mobility issues; but hey, hopefully there’s an ‘accessible’ trip available soon.
Highly recommended!

Excellent day trip! - A fantastic trip and whistle stop tour of some great places!
Our guide, Gabriel was excellent, full of knowledge and interesting facts, along with a great sense of humour. Good care of all the people on the trip too.
Our driver, Gaspare was a very good driver, especially given the wet weather.
There is naturally a walk to/from the bus points at each stop, but all very manageable.
The meal and wine tasting was very good too. Thoroughly recommend the trip!

Best tour ever! - We really enjoyed this tour! We learned so much from Mano, our tour guide. He knew his history, answered any question you had and was very funny as well, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Sienna, San Ginmignano and Pisa were absolutely beautiful! The lunch at the vineyard was wonderful! Enjoyed the food, olive oil, and especially the wine! On our way back, Mano took the time to personally talk with you and answer any questions you had not only about the trip, but Italy in general. Thank you so much Mano for making this tour one of the biggest highlights of our trip!

Tuscan Tour - couldn't be happier! - Above and beyond expectations. Tour guide Tony was charming and amusing, and kept good control over the group. His knowledge of local history and geography kept us entertained the whole day. Labi the bus driver kept us safe and on time, and looked after our things when we were off the bus. A big surprise for us was San Gimignano, a medieval town in a state of incredible preservation. Every angle was picture perfect, and although we had not really heard of it before we were not surprised to find that it has been used in many films (eg Gladiator, Solo (Star Wars) and Inferno). Highly Recommended!

Best of Tuscany - Had the loveliest of times with Emma and Walk About — perfect planning and timing. It’s a long day but Emma gave us tons of interesting facts about the region and each location, and she was fun, so that helped keep the mood up!

An Unbelievable Day! - What an experience! This tour was long and tiring, but worth every single penny and hour spent. I felt that we had the perfect amount of time to explore Siena, San Gimignano, Tuscany, and Pisa. We learned SO much that we would’ve never known had we not done this tour. Our guide, Emma was truly the star of the show. She was funny, kept us entertained and informed, and I was so impressed with her ability to handle such a large group of people. She went above and beyond and even provided us with lists of things to do and eat at each individual’s neighborhood in Florence or our next stop on our trip. We are in Italy for 12 day and so far this was my favorite part. You will not regret booking this trip!

Fine with a several flaws - First the tour guide was VERY friendly and encouraged questions and loved interacting with the big group (we were 50 which I found to be a lot but ok). The tour bus was comfortable and larger items needed for a long day could be kept on the bus while visiting each site which was great. The tour did go to the places it listed and enough time was spent at each location. Where it goes wrong:
- The tour is advertised as an 8 hour tour but doesn’t account for the drives. From the time we met at the meeting point to the time we were dropped by off (the side of a busy road) it was a llittle more than 12 hours which completely messed with our evening plans. We didn’t find this out until we met with the guide in the morning 15 mins before the start the the tour. The winery for the lunch has beautiful areas to take fabulous pictures.
- DONT INCLUDE THE LUNCH. It was unfortunately the worst meal we have had in Italy in the last 11 days we have been here. The “bruschetta” was rancid olive oil on warm bread. The bread was terrible and the oil was not better. The pasta and ragu were mediocre (compare to Italian standards), probably just fine for those who do not cook or don’t travel a lot…. The cheeses and honey were a pleasant surprise. So were the biscottis.
- they do refill your portions if you want more of the pasta and cheeses which was nice.
- Lastly the prices for addons were out of date. We climbed the tower in San Gimignano and were told it was $5 per person but it was in fact $10 per person. Not a big deal but correct information would be appreciated.

This is a tour that ships... - This is a tour that ships hundreds of people out at your time slot - it is NOT a small group, or quaint experience. Cattle call is 100% the best way to explain this. 14 hrs day, no planned bio breaks or bathroom on buses.
Our leader guide (there's a difference bc you're given to other guides in cities) was awesome - he knew his history like no one else, but he was also frustrated with Viator's setup. It is a mass produced feeling.
I would recommend spending a tiny bit more and doing something smaller to make your visit much more memorable. I have no idea why these ratings on this tour are so high.
Also, heads up they don't tell you... you meet at the train station and take a long walk - about a .5 mile walk to get on your bus.
