Highlights
  • Teatro del Sale - In an ancient convent transformed into a Theatre 20 years ago, guests will get into a very convivial and authentic Florentine atmosphere. Huge open kitchen with wood oven and an always active fireplace, chefs lead the first show of the night, ringing the bell when buffet opens, announcing with a loud shout when something tasty and delicious is ready to be served. When everyone is about to finish their dinner, the lights get dimmed creating a magical atmosphere and you will no longer be entertained by our chefs, but by talented artists and musicians. Thus it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the show comfortably sitting at your table sipping a glass of wine. The whole experience last 3 hours. Teatro del Sale is not a location is our home!

Fun and interesting experience - An interesting experience. ;) I'm not sure what I was expecting exactly. This was a 3 hour experience. The first two hours are dinner where everyone is sitting in a small theater at family dinner style tables - there is a large window to see the chefs cooking an approx 6-course meal, each time a course was ready, the chef rings a LOUD bell and everyone runs to the window to pick up their plate. It was loud, pushy, and comical. After dinner, everyone turns their chair towards the stage to watch the show. I was expecting it to be Italian singing, but it was an Italian comedy show - we didn't understand one single word, but everyone was laughing hysterically! Again, fun and interesting experience overall!
