Private or semi private is definitely the way to go - Elizabetta, our tour guide was terrific. We were pleasantly surprised when we learned that she is an English teacher when she’s not giving tours. She was a fountain of knowledge and her passion was quite evident. She was extremely flexible and adjusted on the fly as 2 people in our group wanted to stop for some food, so she used the opportunity to go to the Ufizzi and collect our tickets so that we could then maximize our time in the museum. Excellent tour. Semi private or private is definitely the way to go, even though it is pricier.

Highly Recommend - Great Tour Guide! - My wife and I did the combo of the David, Walking Tour, plus Uffizi. Annette was the best! We entered all of the museums with ease. Annette was extremely knowledgeable on the towns history and everything involved. If visiting Florence and looking to learn what you’re looking at around the city, take this tour!

Babylon Tours brings the history and art alive! - It's our experience that a guide's insights and perspectives really enhances your understanding and enjoyment of the sights. Florence was the 3rd city that we experienced with Babylon. We participated in the Michelangelo/Academia Gallery (with Viola) and Uffizzi (with Eleonara) tours. Both guides were first rate- knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and humorous. We have participated in small group and private tours with other companies in the past and Babylon is always our first choice. The pricing is very reasonable for an in depth, personalized experience of exceptional quality. Plus, the customer service is excellent. I made a mistake with the booking and Babylon corrected it easily and immediately.

Outstanding Tour and Exceptional Tour Guide with Annette - My wife and I were very fortunate to tour Florence and the museums with Annette today. She has an exceptional historical knowledge of the history of the city and the historical significance of the Renaissance period. Annette was great and paced our group perfectly to take in the sights and nuances of the museums in a level of detail and depth that gave us a great appreciation for this city and the Arts. I would highly recommend this tour for all that love to take in all that this area of Italy has to offer. Ask for Annette!
