Pitti gorgeous! - The best palace in Florence. Spoilt by all the various forms of art from sculptures to paintings to interior design, architecture to name but a few. Every room was awash with treasures. Took our breath away.

Amazing tour - Lovely! Absolutely amazing. A very experienced and knowledgeable guide walked us through the gardens and through the various rooms in the palace. Her English was perfect and she was easy to hear and understand, and she obviously had a lot of knowledge in artwork. This was so informational and interesting and I could have stayed in the beautiful gardens for hours. So happy with this tour, highly recommended!

Wealth of knowledge - Cristiano is a wealth of knowledge. We have been at the Pitti Place numerous times before on our own but never were able to appreciate it the way we did after our tour with Cristiano. He has 30.years experience and a passion for what he does and it shows. We would highly recommend anyone interested in history and are to sign up.

Perfectly Pitti! - Our guide was fantastic! Knowledgeable, linking the story of the lives of people who had lived in the palace with the rooms & set- she was calm, with warm humour- I loved the art & the small size of the group

Great architecture/art spoiled by lousy lighting and setting - I’m sad to write a mixed review. I had very high expectations and they were sorta met but then again, not really. The building and art were spectacular, the history awesome, the guide was knowledgeable and helpful. The problem is that much of the artwork is as it was a hundred+ years ago. So you’d walk into a room and it was stuffed with awesome artwork but instead of being awe’d, I was trying to position myself around the room so I could actually see the art in a reasonable light. Sometimes that worked, often not. I would contrast this with the Dumo museum where the art is spectacular AND THEN they make it even better by the setting they place the art in. I can’t say enough good things about that place.

Too much money for little enjoyment - Way too much time spent on explaining every little detail about the paintings. It was way too much information. We paid $73 each for the tour and then found out it did NOT include the gardens. We had to exit and get in line and pay more. Not worth the money at all.
