Highlights
  • Via Matteo Palmieri, 31 R - Learn to make FRESH PASTA, just like our grandmothers did in Italy. We will guide you through every step of the process.

Our COOKING SCHOOL is situated inside a MEDIEVAL TOWER from the 1200s, just a stone’s throw from Brunelleschi’s Dome. Here, you’ll breathe the same air as Dante Alighieri, the father of the Italian language, as the tower once belonged to his wife’s family.

Our team consists of seasoned chefs with extensive experience in top Italian kitchens.

From FLOUR to RAGÙ, we’ll create authentic Italian pasta from scratch, just as it was done during the Medici family’s reign in the Renaissance. We’ll choose the finest seasonal vegetables and the best products Italy has to offer.

WE WILL PREPARE 3 TYPES OF FRESH PASTA, including RAVIOLI, TORTELLI, and PAPPARDELLE. Simultaneously, the Chef will prepare complementary sauces such as butter and sage, arrabbiata, and traditional Tuscan ragù.

You won’t need to bring anything, as we provide all the necessary equipment. At the end, we’ll enjoy the fruits of our labor together.

Throughout the experience, we can enjoy fine TUSCAN WINE or unlimited

Fun class - This was a lot of fun. The chef got us all involved, and my whole family had a great time. Also a nice time getting to know other guests who were visiting Florence too!

Awesome experience! - This was so much fun! Our group of 6, ages 14-54 all extremely enjoyed learning to make the pastas and sauces. The chef was engraving and involved everyone. He took his time to explain each step and answer questions along the way. The location says it’s in the restaurant, but there are actually two rooms set up with a kitchen in each to do the classes. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a pasta making class.

A+ Class - David Rosati was the best chef to teach a pasta class. His love of cooking that has been passed down shows in everything he does. He was very patience and entertaining. This more than exceeded our expectations. Im ready to make my own pasta from scratch, but maybe some wine 1st. Lol

Delicious & Fun Pasta Making Class - Cooking with Lorenzo was a blast!! We made 3 different pastas: tortellini, ravioli and tagliatelle. The recipes were so easy. Lorenzo made the sauces (butter and sage, Florentine Bolognese and a simple sauce with cherry tomatoes). Just be aware you aren’t eating the exact pastas you made - they all are cooked in one big pot.

Thanks Lorenzo! - Lorenzo was a perfect host! We were taught how to make real pasta - tortellini, ravioli and pappardelle. We made a ricotta mixture, a butter and sage cause and a beef ragu! All with lots of red wine! For something different, it was great fun and we met some lovely Austrian girls and a German family! Highly recommend this experience!

Must-do activity! - This cooking class was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy. The instructor made the lesson fun, interactive, and low pressure. We also met lovely people also traveling through Italy and had an absolute blast socializing. The unlimited wine definitely kept the good vibes going. Highly recommend!

Very fun and enlightening cooking experience, close to everything and very easy to find! - 4.5* We enjoyed the class very much. It was very fun and we have learned a lot. Maybe a small improvement would be to let us try to do the sauces ourselves, but we understand that would need a different set-up and probably also more time. We recommend it to everybody who wants to have some fun, eat a great meal and drink some good wine and doesn't have the time to spend the whole day. Also, it was very easy to find and close to the city centre and parking (we recommend parking in San Ambroggio - aprox 10 minutes from the restaurant)

Something different other than museums - Good fun activity for novice cooks and kids. Large class size but you do learn the basics of pasta making. The chef is clearly passionate about pasta.
