Wonderful tour of the Medici art collection - We had a wonderful tour of the Pitti Palace with an excellent tour guide who had a clear passion for art history. It was clear from the magnificent art collection why the Medici family was considered such great patrons of the arts. It would have been nice to learn more about the other families who lived in the Palace and to see their living quarters, but overall it was still a very nice and informative tour.

Pitti boboli - our guide Alessio was not only exquisite in manner but also very very prepared. She has always been attentive to my and my niece's requests in explaining or adding details and notes. Alessio did not "measure" the time of our visit by offering us a supplement of his time and suggested parallels with the other attractions we had seen or would see shortly. The richness of the history and collection of Palazzo Pitti have been amply illustrated and enhanced. Palazzo Pitti already deserves a positive review, but a guide like ours made our experience unique.
