This tour is well worth it. You will be stuffed with good food. Lorenzo will take good care of you. - Lorenzo was amazing. We were lucky and all the other members of the group didn’t show up, so we basically got a private tour. He showed us so many cool parts of Florence and made sure we ate so much good food. There was so much good cheese, meat, wine, gelato, espresso, pastries, and produce. We also loved his recommendations for restaurants, wine shops, and bars in Oltrarno. Lorenzo has lived in Florence for over 20 years and knows just about everything and everyone, so we felt right at home.

We always find these... - We always find these local food tours to be fun and interesting (and delicious). When they include alcohol as this one does, it is even better since it tends to loosen up all the attendees. We had a fun and engaging group. Mara was lovely- enthusiastic, friendly, entertaining and informative. The food was varied and plentiful. We enjoyed being in a less touristy part of town (but an easy walk from city center). We really enjoyed this tour.

Authentic Food Experience - Excellent food and drink tour in Oltrarno neighborhood. Our Florentine guide Christine was knowledgeable and engaging. It was a very small tour just us and a couple from New Zealand. We especially enjoyed the wine window and its history. The tour ended with the best gelato across from a small piazza where there was a local band playing traditional music. A wonderful authentic evening.

Authentic Florence food experience! - Our guide Chiara was amazing. She took us to restaurants/food establishments only owned by Florentine locals. We very much appreciated this. We were able to enjoy classic Tuscan appetizers with wine pairing, a true Negroni, a wine window experience, a classic Florentine steak main dinner course with side dishes, and finished off with local gelato flavor special to Florence. We would actually do this food tour again if we could it was so wonderful. If you want to experience Florence off the beaten path, this is the food tour for you. Thank you for the wonderful memories Chiara!

What a great food tour - What a great experience learning about the food in Italy. We learned about the popular food items like Bistecca Alla Fiorentina and the smaller businesses that cater to the locals, as well as the importance of how to make the true gelato. Our guide was Awesome!!!!

Must do in Florence - We stopped at five places on the food and wine tour first stop was Rochetta with various cheeses. One of them was creamy with a truffle sauce. It was delicious some manchego cheese with jelly and honey and other assortments. Second stop was for Prosecco, third stop was for More tiny bites and wine, cheese and meat and some really special pork fat, sliced really thin, next stop was for a big steak dinner steak and potatoes wonderful Florence style steak, last stop gelato. Everything was amazing.

Great tour for foodies! - We have five stops with drinks and traditional test and dishes. We learned about the culture with a small group of individuals. Felt like I learned a lot about the culture through the food. Sometimes I go on food tours, and they talk about the history of the city and also show you some sites, this was not for that. It was mainly focused on the dining experience.

A terrific experience and value. Would do again. - This was an excellent experience…one of the most fun things we did in Florence, and we did a lot! Much more food, actually, than we thought, and wine, too! Marco, our guide was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Excellent small group tour - The tour was a small group (12) which some tours are 30-40. Marco was excellent. Shared history of the area, customs of the locals, and great places to eat at. Being a small group was nice to meet other people from around the world. Made for a fun evening. Highly recommend.
