Must Do! - This climb is not for the faint of heart, but you must do it anyway. The views from the top of the Duomo are spectacular and totally worth the climb. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient with those of us who were a little slower. This is a must do when in Florence

Top choice - Amazing tour with the best tour guide! By far our favorite thing we did in Florence. The Duomo is stunning and our tour guide made the trip extra special by not only providing great knowledge but working to get us time at the top all to ourselves with no other crowds

A friend recommended this... - A friend recommended this tour and it was definitely worth it! we also booked very last minute and most tickets where sold out so this is a good way to get in this astonishing must do activity in florence. It’s a unique way of experiencing the duomo and the views do not disappoint. Our guide was also very friendly and knowledgeable.

How HIGH is the beautiful Dome!! - During our holiday in Florence (Covid times!) we did three guided tours organized by StarFlorence, two of which with Francesca (Church of Santa Croce and Brunelleschi's Dome) and one with Silvia (Palazzo Pitti). So, for the Duomo the guide was Francesca , whom we had already met the day before for Santa Croce: a very lucky coincidence because, in leaving us, she -with her usual fluency of communication- had made an appointment in front of the Lindt store. INSTEAD ... our reservation, sold by Civitatis, reported AN ERROR, that is, gave as a meeting point the Arnold coffee ;- ) that no longer exists!!! This could have created at least perplexity, if Francesca had not been there. The “climbing” of the 463 (four hundred and sixty-three!) steps was not as tiring as I feared, with the nice Francesca encouraging me and occasionally making us “breathe” showing us the wonderful frescoes or telling us stories and anecdotes. A long “climb”, but it was worth it: the view from the dome is spectacular and our guide made us appreciate the main sites of wonderful Florence from above. My husband's joking comment, after climbing those cramped ramps, is that the ancient Florentines had to be short, thin and with small feet!! Seriously, a guided tour that we enjoyed at all times!! ONLY a guided tour can make you fully enjoy the various works you are seeing, it is really worth it! THANK YOU SO MUCH,Francesca Additional note: all Star Florence guides comply with (and enforce) Covid measures

Dome Tour by Martina - Martina was a great guide — very knowledgable, friendly and full of fun antidotes about the Dome’s history within the larger context of Florence itself. She was also very helpful in establishing another tour for us, suggesting places for lunch, and even walking us to and from the offices and beyond. We would highly recommend her either as a private tour guide (sunflorencetour.it) or through starflorence.com. We linked up with her through GetYourGuide, a most helpful agency.

Interesting, certainly. - Ivan has been a very good guide. Professional, friendly and nice. He has given us an instructive presentation on Brunelleschi’s dome and on Florentine urbanism. Thank you and congratulations to Ivan.
