Skip the line? Yea, please! - This was a great deal and perfect plan! We didn’t want a tour guide, but rather explore on our own at our own pace. We met up at the meeting place, got our ticket and that’s it. Very simple - got in at the time the ticket stated!!

Very easy to find the... - Very easy to find the representative, who was very friendly and organised. Only a short wait to get the tickets for us and join a short queue to get in.

Worth seeing - Loved the experience.. Hist was easy to find and directed us where to go.. Although we had skip the queue, we still waited a while to enter, but the wait was worth it.. There was stunning painting and sculptures and it was too crowded..

Bad experience - It doesn't make sense. The guide only buys tickets when you arrive on the site and you line up just like everyone else doesn’t skip line or explain anything. I didn't understand what they offer

Viator did not deliver on their contract, then refused to refund a reasonable amount to account for their failure - Genuinely disappointed with Viator (the selling agent) and City Wonders (the local provider). We were told to RV with a City Wonders rep opposite the gallery at 1550. The guide did not show; there were approx 20 others in the same group waiting; and there was no communication from City Wonders. After multiple phone calls from a range of customers in the group, a guide eventually showed up after 45 mins waiting. By this time, we could have just joined the standard queue and got in for the standard entry price of €16. When the guide showed up there was no apology. Just a ‘wait here’ whilst she went off to sort out our tickets. Once she returned, after another 10 mins of waiting, we were chaotically ushered to a separate line where we had to go through the entry process and the guide disappeared without a word. So, at this point we had payed a 100% mark-up to skip the line, but we had been waiting for over an hour from the stated arrival time to getting inside. There is no doubt we would have been inside significantly quicker had we joined the general admission queue. So, after the visit we complained to Viator who initially were apologetic but offered nothing other than platitudes. We pressed again and after a few back and forth emails, were offered a 10% refund off the price we payed. This was frankly insulting, given they had charged us a 100% markup on the ticket and given us nothing for that other than hassle. The response was basically: “we got you in didn’t we?” To which our response is: yes, but we paid you to allow us to skip the line and what we got was an hour waiting and a load of extra hassle for the privilege. If we had been refunded the markup and just paid the ticket price of €16 we would have accepted that. However, as Viator are unable to understand the basic principle that they have broken their contract with us, as they did not deliver what we paid them to deliver, we are unable to recommend this company and give them 1*.

Nowhere with no queue - Well, if you book at 15:50 and then just wait in another queue and only come in at 16:15, the definition of no queue is just wrong and already borders on misleading description. Save the extra Euros and queue normally, since you've been inside faster.

Unjustified delay - Marcello, the guide in charge of our group, arrived late and informed us that you, the tour company, made a mistake and booked tickets for 16:30 instead of 16:00. As a consequence, instead of skipping the line we waited an extra hour. It was no fun for someone like me who walks with a cane and my son had to leave early to attend a zoom call. I wonder if you will make amends.
