Amazing tour! - My guide was Dutch. I forgot his name as I am doing this after my travel and lost my note. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was one the best guides I had in my travels, he was really, really knowledgeable!

We got more out of our Uffizi visit and saved time - This tour helped us get more from our Uffizi visit while saving time. Knowledgeable guide with a sense of humor! Thoughtful selection of artworks to discuss, good tips about the city of Florence.

A great way to see David, the Duomo and the Dome by lunch time! - We had a great time on the tour. It was an early start but that was great as it got very hot as the day went on. We definitely skipped some long lines. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable with good quality microphone and ear pieces. He gave a quick lecture about the evolution of renaissance art and then we had enough time to wander around David. Next we went over to the Duomo which is not that impressive on the inside but the walk up to the Dome is fantastic. The kids loved the winding steps that get really quite steep and narrow as you come to the very top. It was a great way to get these tourist stops sorted without waiting or hours in a hot line. It was all done by lunch and was neither too slow for our kids or too rushed.

David tour - This was a smaller group tour and moved fast. It was nice that most was inside from the heat. The tour guide did any amazing good job. The Dome climb was awesome and seeing the inside of the Duomo beating the crowds was nice. We would recommend this tour.

A Great Way to See Two Top Sights - This tour is a great way to spend a morning while seeing two of the most sought after attractions in Firenze. Our tour guide Matt (Matteo) led us on a curated walkthrough of the started with priority access to the Galleria dell’Accademia to see (you guessed it!) Michaelangelo's famous David sculpture (as well as some of his unfinished works). Matteo was nice enough to share some of the other works within the gallery as well, sharing insights and nuances that might not be clear for those visiting on their own. After the Accedemia we were led to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to see the Duomo, and a walk to the roof of the church to have a special view of the city landscape. We also got to see special portions of the murals covering the ceiling of the dome itself with more insights into how much work it took to take everything to completion. Great tour, highly recommend. And many thanks to Matteo for his enthusiasm and information.

Highly recommend tour with passion for interesting art history! - Matt (Matteo) was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and you can easily tell he has a passion for art history. He took good care of us in the academia and the duomo, making sure we saw many important pieces in the academia besides the David and that we could appreciate the David from 360degrees and specifics of what to look at. He also pointed out interesting views inside the Duomo and associated art history. Highly recommend!

Go for the David, think about whether you want the Dome hike - Our guide from Walks of Italy did a good job, but this tour was a bit overpriced compared to others. Getting an early skip the line tour to see the David was a big help. However, we only stopped in two rooms at the Accademia. I didn't think walking to the top of the Duomo was worth the extra price. There are other nice city views and the guide didn't go with us for that part. It makes sense to have flexibility in how much time you spend at the top, but the amount of time with the guide was rather limited as a result. Hence, my comment about the high price.
