Take part in an intimate group journey, following time-worn trails near Florence. Traverse easy, uncomplicated paths. While hiking, gain insights into Florence and Fiesole’s history, all while marveling at the breathtaking Tuscan views. Land your feet where Leonardo Da Vinci once did, in the place where he first made a man fly.
We’ll pause for a delightful lunch before heading back to the city. This adventure provides a unique vantage point on Tuscany and Florence, offering splendid viewpoints to gaze upon the Duomo and the surrounding Tuscan landscape. Unearth the secrets hidden by Monte Ceceri mountain, as our trek brings us to Leonardo da Vinci’s square at its summit.
Enjoy a lunch complemented by wine, served at a farm controlled by an ancient Florentine aristocratic family. If unavailable, we’ll dine at a genuine local trattoria. Afterward, we continue our journey to Fiesole, where a minivan awaits to transport us back to Florence.

Beautiful morning hike in the hills - What a beautiful morning walking ancient pathways away from the crowds if Florence! Our guide Lorenzo was a wealth of information! He pointed out flowers and herbs and wild foods growing along our paths as well as sharing the most picturesque view points!

An amazing morning in the hills of Tuscany! - Amazing morning spent in the hills of Tuscany!! Stefano was so knowledgeable about the area and gave a wonderful tour!! Not to mention “the secret bench” with a bottle of Chianti, snacks and a breathtaking view of Florence. Topped off with a farm-table organic lunch. What a treat!! Highly recommend!!!

Hike the Hills - Get away from the madding crowd and hike the hills around Florence. We enjoyed our guide and his perspectives on history and the natural world. And lunch - lunch was good.

Wonderful trek in the hills of Fiesole - Just a beautiful experience walking through the hills of Fiesole away from the crowds and heat of Firenze. The guide, Stefano was very nice and knowledgeable about the Etruscan and Roman history of the area and there were interesting paths, amazing view and stone quarries to see. It was really so nice to be up in the peaceful, cool hills in nature just trekking. Stefano was also very patient on the trek with me and we took our time. Lastly, he also arranged for a lovely lunch at an agroturismo restaurant. The food was very freshly cooked and flavorful. A great day and a wonderful guide.

A perfect way to see Florence! - Stefano took 4 of us on a fantastic hike through the Florence hills in April (late posting I know)! It was exhilarating to see Florence from the hills and after touring Italy, a great way to use our bodies for something other than eating and drinking. The only downside is once we were back in Florence, the city felt crowded and loud and I was ready to head back to the hills. Stefano is a great guide who pulled out some surprises along the way. I highly recommend this tour as a way to see Florence from a new viewpoint!

Great trip - The views from Mount ceceri of course were incredible but the best part of this trip was our interaction with our guide Stefano. He was interesting personable and well prepared and took care of us very well under difficult circumstances.very hot weather.

Wonderful! - If you read the other reviews, two things will become apparent immediately:
1) the hikes Stefano offers are unique and memorable
2) Stefano is a great guy
I'm happy to say that both of these things are true. Stefano's love for this part of Tuscany is infectious, and it was a real privilege to spend the morning hiking through woods and across fields with him. The scenery, with the views back over Florence, is spetacular. But Stefano may be the real treasure. He's so welcoming, funny and knowledgeable that you feel like you've known him your whole life.
Don't miss an opportunity to make an Out of the Box Florence tour part of your vacation. Stefano is more than happy to create an itinerary that works for you or your group. Florence holds many treasures. This one is special.

Florence from a different angle. - What a wonderful and different experience in Florence.
Stefano was a great guide, very knowledgeable of all his surroundings, professional and friendly.
We would never have known about this part of Florence had we not taken this
tour. The landscape and views from above are amazing.
Discovering the hills above the city of Florence is a unique experience.
Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant in the hills, it was delicious and great atmosphere. What a stupendous experience. Highly recommended.

Can't wait to come back and do it again! - We went on the Florence at your Feet experience and it was better than expected! So many beautiful views and history lessons from Stefano to make the walk/hike so interesting. Stefano was a wonderful guide, a great conversationalist who endulged us while we asked many questions, and his choice of wines were perfect.
I would recommend Out of the Box Florence to anyone interested in seeing great views, getting out in nature, and of course, enjoying some wine!

Amazing! The best experience on my Italy trip! - I had the most magical experience of my Italy trip with Stefano! I completely trusted him with the itinerary and it was truly out of the box, off the beaten path and absolutely amazing. He took me on a hike through the nature park which thoroughly exceeded my expectations. He is so knowledgeable and his passion truly shines through. Definitely going to recommend him to my other friends and I’d definitely follow him again on another trip any time! Amazing!
