Highlights
  • Via Matteo Palmieri, 31 R - Discover the art of making FRESH PASTA, just like our grandmothers did in Italy. We’ll guide you through each step of the process, ensuring you master every detail.

Our COOKING SCHOOL is nestled within a MEDIEVAL TOWER dating back to the 1200s, mere steps from Brunelleschi’s Dome. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Dante Alighieri, the father of the Italian language, as the tower once belonged to his wife’s family.

Our team consists of seasoned chefs with extensive experience in top Italian kitchens.

We handpick the finest seasonal vegetables and the best products Italy has to offer. From FLOUR to RAGÙ, we’ll craft authentic Italian pasta from scratch, just as it was done during the era of the Medici family, the Renaissance patrons.

WE WILL PREPARE 3 TYPES OF FRESH PASTA, including RAVIOLI, TORTELLI, and PAPPARDELLE. Simultaneously, the Chef will create complementary sauces such as butter and sage, arrabbiata, and traditional Tuscan ragĂą.

You won’t need to bring anything, as we provide all the necessary equipment. At the end, we’ll savor the dishes we’ve prepared together.

Throughout the experience, we can enjoy fine TUSCAN WINE or unlimited

FABULOUS TIME IN THE KITCHEN - Had a wonderful time with the che f. Atmosphere was great, they had everything set up and ready. Chef gave great instructions and was entertaining. My 9 year old son enjoyed the class as well and chef was very engaging with him as well. Highly recommend great fun, food, and wine.

Louis…. Great chef and instructor - Louis was by far not only a great chef, but a wonderful teacher. He had a great ability to interact with his class in a manner to which most individuals would understand; and, logical with any question thrown his way. I would highly recommend this class…. Even to someone who knows how to make pasta. My husband and I met friends from all over the world and I this is a memory that will forever be embedded inside of me.

Best cooking experience! - Amazing, we adults and our 7 and 10 year old children loved it. Luis was our wonderful chef instructor who made the experience fun and informative. The setting was beautiful. I don't understand reviews that said it was too hot inside... this was one of the hottest days in the year and inside was comfortable. We learned to make pasta dough by hand, ricotta stuffing and 3 different pasta shapes, drinking water and wine along the way and eating our fill.

So much fun - Learnt a lot, had fun, delicious pasta. The wine was low level, but unlimited! I didn't expect all the pasta to be cooked as one and mixed up, so I actually ate someone else's pasta. So unless you can make yours stand out you'll never find it at the end.

Great cooking class - Class was well placed for the beginner…without boring the experienced. The three various pastas all were delicious…each made with a distinctive sauce. Also…very family friendly atmosphere.

Great class- especially for those who are new to making pasta. - Everyone has fun at this class. From kids ( age 10ish) to seniors. It’s a hands on class and the chef makes rounds to every participant, making sure they are succeeding. I’ve been making pasta for 10 years and I learned some new things. The Only thing I felt was sadly lacking is the fact that you are not eating the pasta that You made. All the pasta is cooked together and dished out to all. I’d rather eat what I made to see if and where I needed improvement. Plus pasta needs to be rolled thin so it’s not tough.

We booked this thinking... - We booked this thinking it would be a way to avoid the heat but there was no air conditioning. We were standing in the heat the entire time. The chefs were entertaining and we enjoyed learning to make pasta. They advertise unlimited wine and soft drinks but they wouldn’t give them out until the very end of the class but the class next to us had wine while they were making pasta. You eat the pasta that you make but they mix together all the pasta that all 20 people in the class make and then serve everyone from that. Everyone gets to try the same three dishes and sauces. Eating the food from a large number of people with questionable cooking skills was a little off putting.

Horrible experience. - The chef was nice and had good tips. The class itself was overcrowded (22 vs the 15 maximum advertised). The sauces the chef made tasted overly salted and we couldn’t eat it. Wine was advertised but never offered until the very end when someone asked. There was no ending….the chef just walked out. Waste of our money.
