Be ready for much walking and stunning views!! - Our guide, Nathan Smith, was a perfect leader! All our expectations were met with knowledge, stories, and humor. Being the oldest couple on the tour, we found it a little difficult for the amount of long, fast walking involved in this tour. However, it was an extensive tour that needed a fast pace.

Perfect day trip - Such a great day trip and Gio our guide was amazing!! Getting to see 2 of the Cinque Terre villages AND Pisa in one day is ideal. The villages are busy and you don’t have a ton of time in each but enough for lunch and a little swimming in Monterosso. The stop in Pisa is brief, just enough time to see the tower and square but that was more than enough for us. One thing I will say that the description doesn’t mention is that the walk to and from the train station in La Spezia is quite long so if you have mobility issues be aware. There is a long walk at Pisa as well but they have a tram for €5 per person you can use. Overall a great day.

Great tour and the guides were amazing!! - This was such a great tour and the guides were amazing!! We have vacationed in Cinque Terre before so weren’t sure we would see anything new and unusual. Nathan and Lorenzo provide great detail on what where we were going and would see. Had some free time and then onto Pisa. Again, they provided great information and got free time again. On the way back Nathan prided some great info. on places to eat. Was a fantastic day. And a special shout out to our bus driver Mikel. That was a smooth and comfortable trip.

Awesome views but lots of walking! - A great day trip but exhausting! Lots of walking! Started with 2.5 hour bus ride to La Spezia, 1 mile walk to train station, train to Manarola (45 min to explore) and Monterosso( 2 hours to explore), 25 min walk back to bus, 1.5 hour ride to Pisa, 15 min walk to tower and back to bus (tram was optional for $5), final 1 hour ride to Florence! Giao was our guide and was great! He led well and enforced the need for punctuality to stay on schedule! He added lots of interesting facts about the region and life in Tuscany!

Scenic Cinque Terre - Our tour guide was Daniella (Danny) and she was super informative and energetic from the start. The tour was quite intense in terms of what we saw and did. However, the actual result will entirely depend on who is in your tour group. Make sure you are moderately fit and can stand for long periods. We were mostly American and Canadian tourists and kept to the timings exactly. Was amazing and the day was seamless. I traveled with my 6 year old daughter and guests were shocked at how amazing she kept up with everyone right until end. The trip is a must see, however; just hope you get a good traveling group as that will determine the success of the trip. The reason I gave 4* is that the lunch they recommended was quite terrible and way overpriced at a place that has ZERO view or ambiance. Stay on the small street and find your own place to eat. Also, for this tour, even though ours was mainly flawless, the group of 40 is way too big! 20 would be more ideal and less stressful.

Walking in Italy! - It was a most enjoyable tour. We were in a very nice bus then got a chance to ride the train to Cinque Terre. This tour has a lot of walking and our guide was fast. I kept up , but was way slower than the others. 🤷🏻‍♀️because of knee surgery. The Mediterranean Coast is breathtaking. The town of Manarola was absolutely beautiful. We then went to the town of Pisa. What can I say, .. you just have to see it.💜 Thank you to Nathan Smith our guide.👏👏👏

Cinque Terre and Pisa - The areas we visited were fine but the experience wasn’t. Nowhere in the description did it say how much walking was required. And our guide got off the bus and took off like a rocket. She never even looked back to see that several were far behind and were lucky we didn’t get lost. There were 2 people with mobility issues and a couple of kids that could not keep up. And we got to the train station with 30 minutes to spare so it was unnecessary to rush like that. When we got to the first stop, it was very disorganized with no clear direction of what we were supposed to do. My husband and I were left so we saw nothing. The second stop was equally disorganized and we had to ask where we supposed to go for the lunch reservations we’d made. The train left at 2:12 and she sent 3 different changes in the last 5 minutes. 4 people missed the train and she was totally unconcerned. They had to pay their own way to catch up to us later. That spoiled the trip for me, knowing they’d been left and she didn’t even care. If I were the guide, I would have told everyone to be there by 2:00 to leave a little cushion. The last stop had much clearer direction. I assume to insure nobody else was left.

Great sights to see, but it's a rat race! - The tour guide began the bus ride with a 20 to 30 minutes rant about how we'd be passing through dangerous areas, how pickpockets are running rampant, oh, and don't forget to make sure to catch your train or you'll get left behind. Unlike past guided tours, there was no insights to anything we passed or approached. The sights visited were nice and we were able to enjoy some fresh seafood, but the overall experience was awful. The destinations are what pushed me to give it an additional star.
