San Gimignano is a small, walled medieval hill town near Siena. Known as the “Town of Fine Towers,” it once boasted over 70 towers during the Middle Ages. Today, it serves as an open-air museum, offering a glimpse into the medieval era. In the main square, don’t miss the chance to taste the best ‘ice cream in the world,’ and throughout the village, admire the remarkable craftsmanship of local artisans. Visitors can also climb the tower museum (Torre Rognosa) for a stunning view of the Tuscan hills. - Chianti Road - After the free visit to San Gimignano, the drive continues along one of the most beautiful “Tuscan Wine Roads,” with a stop among the grape vineyards for photos.
