Great walking tour and wonderful guide! - On the 6th of March, I participated in the “Best Of Florence Walking Tour - Monolingual Small Group Tour” provided by CiaoFlorence. It was a short tour of 1 hour 30 minutes long, showing the most important monuments, statues and pathways in the city center. I really enjoyed it, because it started at nine in the morning and the streets and main square were still pretty calm. I was able to take beautiful pictures and see everything clearly. We also received a radio and earphone at the beginning of the tour that worked perfectly. So even if it was busier, I would have heard everything without any problem. We got to see the San Giovanni square, the Florence Cathedral and the Brunelleschi’s Dome, the Baptistery and Giotto's Bell Tower, Accademia Dei Georgofili, the Uffizi square, the Signoria square, the Ponte Vecchio and many more. Our guide Cristina was also wonderful. She is very kind and explains all the details enthusiastically. She also showed us extra pictures here and there on her Ipad. Everything was well planned by CiaoFlorence!

Great experience - To start, we met the whole group in front of the Ciao Florence shop and then we got a radio and an earpiece in which it was possible to hear our guide, called Cristina. She was a really nice and kind person, who made sure that we had the time to take pictures during her explanations. I personally learned a lot of new historical things during this tour. We saw some of the highlights that the city of Florence has to offer. She stopped to explain details or interesting facts to us. She also took the time to stop at some important sculptures and explain somethings there too. We also got to see some of the old buildings, which are not that common anymore. This tour is perfect for people who want to see some of the highlights but not taking too much time. You will definitely learn new things during this tour, as you might not know some of the interesting facts Cristina explained to us.

Wonders exceptionally explained - The visit far exceeded our expectations. Fabián, our guide was fantastic, he knows a lot and he explained it to us in such a way that it was super interesting. A must visit to understand the city and delve into its history. We were very sad to see it end. As I said, the guide a 10. We will return

Great Walking Tour, Amazing Guide - We cannot thank Oscar enough, he was such a pleasant chap and highly knowledgeable. Always happy to answer our questions and offer further insight during the walking tour; whilst taking the time to ensure that we explored Florence. This is a great tour, which gives you the opportunity to explore and find out more; but equally gives you plenty of time to explore the city further afterwards. The pace of the tour is perfect, and suitable for all ages/abilities. Once again, thank you Oscar!

Very disappointed. Do t waste your time on this company. - This tour was very disappointing and the tour guide was terrible! He kept asking the group questions and then berating them when their answers were wrong. He also corrected everyone’s pronunciation which was very rude. Instead of walking the streets and talking about what we saw, he stopped at 4 places and made us stand there for 15 minutes while he lectured (and berated) us. Worst of all, the tour ends at the Ponte Vecchio and they made us walk back to the staring point for the Accademia tour even though the end of the tour was right nearby. Do not recommend this tour company at all.
