Our guide was very knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. - Our tour was, unknown to us, booked through a "middle man service" who was late so we had to hurry to the meeting place where we were handed off to the actual tour guide outside the Vatican. The actual tour service and our guide was very knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. If you have the opportunity book directly though the tour service and avoid the "middle man" service.

Baptistery, museum, and dome tour - This was such an amazing tour! Our guide was Cosetta and she was fantastic. We learned and saw so much more than if we hadn’t been with this tour. It was a beautiful place to tour and learn more about. Thank you!

Accademia & Dome - We were very confused because we found out that we were the only two in our group continuing on the the Dome climb. Our guide didn’t really want to take the time to explain. She said she only has one tour, not two. Again, we didn’t realize it was two different tours, as it was sold as one. We were given two tickets for entrance to theDome and told to just “walk that way and we’ll find it.” Ok, we did find it, however once inside, we found out that one of the vouchers we were given had already been used. I got through, nut my husband didn’t. I was in tears. The security told us that we should call the police because we had been given “fake tickets!” I did contact Viator and they refunded me, however I was still very upset 😢

Might be a pass - I'm not sure I would do this tour again. It was a larger group and we were passed from one guide to another half way through. The first guide was easier to understand her English than the second. The ear pieces only worked well when you were right on top of the guide and could partly read her lips. I think we could have accomplished this on our own

You will not get what you pay for! - There were over 20 people in the group, NOT FEWER THAN 10 as stated. We received a 1 hour guided Accademia tour, then told to be at the Duomo to climb to the top on our own. They substituted another tour after we arrived, so it was too late to cancel it. No gelato, no gift. Unclear ticket redemption instructions. Tour office was closed, phone was disconnected. Viator is not willing to refund any of it. Beware of their descriptions. Don't trust Viator.
