A great experience! - We didn't get to see the lights, but it was still a great experience. Adam picked us up outside the hotel and got us to the Secret Lagoon in time for us to have an hour in it. With it being the end of the night it wasn't that busy, just another small group there. The lagoon had a bar so we were able to go in the lagoon with a drink! :) The Secret Lagoon was well worth a visit! Whilst we were in the lagoon Adam was scouting out the best place to spot the lights and consulted cloud maps, solar wind activity, and KP scores. He took us well out of the way to get to spot where there was a break in the clouds, and while there was some light activity, we sadly didn't get to see the lights in full force. Adam did try very hard to give us the best possible chance, it was a shame luck wasn't on our side that night.

Fantastic Experience! - Guide was very accommodating and knowledge. The great picture was courtesy of him, he brought hot beverages to keep us warm, while we waited for the lights!

Wow, something else crossed off my bucket list! - First off, Adam is a fantastic guide... he really does know his stuff and I'm not sure we would have seen those elusive Northern lights if it wasn't for his enthusiasm and absolute determination to give us a good experience! The very slight negative for us was that there were 6 of us on this tour, and our family of 4 are all very big (husband ex rugby player, 6'8", son current rugby player around 6', myself a tall 5'8", and a normal size 11 year old) so we were a bit uncomfortable with 2 extra passengers. I assumed it would just be us when I booked. Please do not let this influence your decision to book Adam for this trip though unless you are also a family of giants...but even then, he is worth a bit of discomfort. And the extra 2 people were great fun so we made new friends too. The secret Lagoon was very pleasant. I didn't think I would enjoy swimming outside in the dark and snow but actually we all loved it, and it was even a little too warm in some spots. Unexpected bonus was the bar and enjoying a glass of wine with our new friends in the water! But the highlight of course was finding the lights. Adam wanted to take photo's and they were fabulous, he has quite a talent there. He was happy to wait around for as long as we wanted to, and in fact, we wanted to leave in the end before he did. I got the impression he would have stayed forever if that's what we wanted. And I loved his personal story too. Brave and romantic! So, the message here is, please do book this experience. You won't be disappointed and although you can never guarantee a sighting you will have an interesting evening with Adam as a guide regardless!

Amazing tour! - Adam was amazing on this tour. It was just my fiance and I. Adam was very personable and we just had a blast. Secret lagoon was nice and relaxing and we lucked out with such a clear night that we got awesome pictures. Adam being a professional photographer took absolutely stunning pictures and definitely took his time with them. He took us to secluded areas for the northern lights and we didn't have the multiple bus tours with us. I would totally book this trip Everytime we are in Iceland!

Excellent tour - The intimacy of this tour was really nice, as there is only max 6 of you in the super jeep. The secret lagoon is really fab to visit at night as well, really atmospheric and less crowded. Adam knew the best places to look for the lights and we did see them! It was lovely to receive an email with the photo he took afterwards too. Really lovely evening!

Most certain and trustworthy tour - I did extensive research to make sure we get to see the northern lights and all the reviews in viator and trip advisor led me to believe adam will be the perfect guide for this, thank god i did and booked it. Not only did we manage to see it on a day what is considered as less chance of seeing it but adam managed to take pictures of us witnessing it, which the photography itself is a hard task. We had a small group of 5 people altogether which also made it the more private, friendly and fun tour. I work in the hospitality industry and to see adam go all out to make sure we manage to see the lights and be so kind was a treat, especially when you are at the receiving end. You might think its pricey but I think its completely worth it, especially after almost everyone we met during other activities mentioning how they haven’t been able to see the northern lights for days and how they’ve been trying every night to no vail, including the night we went. If you want to witness the northern lights with that special someone, id highly recommend adam to be your guide.

Amazing northern lights experience, highly recommended. 🙂 - We would highly recommend Try Iceland tours. We were recommended this company by another couple in our hotel and we are so glad we booked. Our guide Adam was very professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. He went out of his way to select the best location to increase our chances to see the northern lights. He even supplied hot drinks to keep you warm whilst out in the cold. As we didn’t have a professional camera he took photos on his personal camera and then emailed them to us. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely visit again.🙂

Amazing..... - Traveled to Iceland in April, knowing seeing the Northern Lights late in the season would be slim chance at best yet we booked with Try Iceland Tours and THANK GOODNESS we did...If it were not for Adam keeping his eye on the sky & knowing what to look for we would have never experienced the night of a lifetime with the Northern Lights dancing across the sky. Adam is a spectacular host and a phenomenal photographer capturing photos of my hubby & I with the Northern Lights - we will cherish for a lifetime. Book with Adam & Try Iceland Tours you will not be disappointed

Fantastic evening - A very enjoyable experience. Adam is extremely helpful and patient. After a relaxing time at the secret lagoon we chased the northern lights. Despite the weather conditions we managed to catch the lights with our camera, that Adam helped us to set.
