The Golden Circle: Platinum Tour by Hidden Iceland presents an exploration of our specially selected sites in the renowned region of Golden Circle, Iceland, which includes a visit to the Secret Lagoon and a lunch treat at Fridheimar Tomato Greenhouse. The Golden Circle features all of the crucial and highly visited attractions of Iceland. This famed area is steeped in history and hosts magnificent waterfalls, thermal hot pools, exploding geysers, diverging continental plates, along with palatable food production, all located just beyond Reykjavik. All tours from Hidden Iceland operate with a limit of 12 travelers, and you will be escorted by our amiable, well-informed guides fluent in English. Discover how we traverse the Golden Circle.
- Minimum age is 8 years
- Weather appropriate clothing. Rainproof clothing recommended.
- Please inform us of where you are staying so we can let you know of the nearest designated pickup point is to meet you for pickup. Restrictions on buses in downtown area mean that we cant pickup from all hotels.
- Pickup starts at 08:30am from your designated bus stop
- Not recommended for guests with mobility issues. It can be harder to get in and out of our buses, with some higher steps.

Hidden Iceland Delivered! - My wife and I used Hidden Iceland for 2 days of private tours to the South Coast and Golden Circle. Our tour guide, Robert, was an absolute rock star. We couldn’t have asked for more. Robert’s knowledge and love for Iceland was contagious, and we left feeling a true connection to the country. In booking our trip, we requested a balance of seeing the “usual” amazing spots and some places off the beaten path. Robert delivered on both fronts, including timing our visits to the most popular attractions in a way that made them much more manageable. Hidden Iceland was well organized with every step, and we would highly recommend them (and Robert!!).

Highly Recommend This Tour! - This was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. Levi was a great guide…very informative and thorough. He’s very knowledgeable and takes his job seriously. He’s done a lot of research to prepare for his tours. Each stop was very different and enjoyable. Loved the lagoon…incredible experience! The tomato farm was unique and the food was delicious (especially the bread)! The waterfalls were amazing especially being able to get so close to feel the spray. The geysers and tectonic plates were very interesting. The National Park was beautiful! Highly recommend this tour!

Great Sunny Day in Iceland Had a terrific experience viewing four iconic sites around Reykjavik. Guide was excellent. - The guide Mat was great and gave good descriptions of the places we visited. The tour was all day with a group of 12, was well paced and gave plenty of time to walk. Great tour.

Comfortable travel to amazing views, fantastic tour guide - Traveling with my 70~ y/o mom on her first trip outside the US, I was looking for a communicative, high value, all day small group tour. We opted for the "Golden Circle, Secret Lagoon and Tomato Greenhouse Lunch Tour", led by Kristian, which was fantastic. Pickup was 2 blocks from our house and we were joined by 8 other folk. Kristian was very kind, supportive, and helpful with my mom's slight mobility issues. Each stop wonderful, beautiful, and we frequently were "Salmon-flow" to the big tour buses (which I prefer). The Tomato restaurant was delicious, fresh, and interesting. The sights were breathtaking. The (not so) Secret Lagoon was refreshing. They had a brand new, super fancy, very comfortable sprinter van with wifi and USB-A & USB-C charging ports at our seats. I'd definitely recommend Hidden Iceland to friends heading to the area, and would happily use them again.

Thank you Levi for making it a pleasure to be stuck in a bus with my family! - We had such an amazing private group tour with Hidden Iceland. We celebrated our mother's 75th birthday by taking a four day family vacation in June 2024. Everything was carefully arranged and thought out.
Our tour guide Levi was considerate, kind, enthusiastic, and of course incredibly knowledgable. When he didn't know the answer, he said "Let me look it up," or "I'll ask my colleagues in the office." Levi clearly loves his job, and his love of Iceland and learning was infectious. I can't recommend this company highly enough. The itinerary was fun and accessible for all the people in our group, and Levi was a rockstar.

Amazing experience! - Hidden Iceland is top notch. Our family of 7 took a ten day golden circle tour in a very comfortable Mercedes tour van. We did and saw so much! Geothermal sites, a glacier hike, canyon climbing, tomato greenhouses, cold water snorkeling and fishing.
Our guide, Prokop was amazing! He shared his love of Iceland with passion and demonstrated a keen understanding of local legends, Icelandic sagas, geothermal energy, geology, glaciology and fishing (to name a few) His driving was competent (we never felt un safe on narrow Icelandic roads) and he was great at getting us checked into accommodations and seeing to our meal reservations.
He even managed to quickly have my son seen by a doctor when he developed tonsillitis.
You can’t go wrong with Hidden Iceland!

One great day out - A 10 hour bus trip was not on my to do list , but this was a very enjoyable day.
The best thing other than the amazing visual delights (geysers, waterfalls and the lagoon) was the driver Mike from the Czech Republic who made the day one to rember. He has a story about everything.
The tomato 🍅 soup at the lunch break is fantastic.

Best tour in Reykjavík !! Must go! - By far one of my favorite tours in Reykjavík. Wonderful guide the tomato farm is one of a kind and the food is heavenly. Highly recommend buying the cucumber salsa at the farm. The godfoss waterfall is spectacular. The secret lagoon is one of a kind. The tomato farm accommodates gluten free, dairy free, vegan and whatever allergies you might have. Truly phenomenal experience
