Great opportunity to... - Great opportunity to climb the volcano, see steam at the the top, and amazing views! The hot springs were neat too. Not hot, just warm, but it felt great after the hike! Super hot hike in July so bring a fan and wear tennis shoes!

Excellent trip. Great... - Excellent trip. Great tour guide, nicely paced. Long walk to top of volcano in heat so go if you’re fit and able only. Lovely swim afterwards in sulphur pools but again need moderate fitness. Take lots of water and snacks. Good value for money.

We had a terrific time.... - We had a terrific time. on this excursion. The captain of our boat was fantastic. He gave us all the history on the volcano and where it was located and how the island blew apart and we had a great time swimming in the hot Springs. I found that this tour was a little more physical than what I was expecting but we had a fabulous time. It was really fun being on a schooner. The views from the ship were amazing.

The volcano is... - The volcano is interesting. The tour should include bottled water. The tour didn't speak English very well so it was hard to understand her. There were also multiple tours at the same time, so she needed a flag or something so we could see her and stay with our tour

Volcano Trek , hard going in this heat - Please remember this is a hike, the temperature is crazy and it is a Volcano. So choose wisely. Lots of people didn't make the whole trek. Don't wear flip flops and hat, water a must. The swim stop in the springs was nice but definitely needed longer. A nice trip but beware of the heat.

Nice hike, cool experience in 'hot' springs - The hike up the volcano is a cool experience with breathtaking views (like all the islands), and the guide was really knowledgable. The visit to the hot springs was a nice swim -- and you have to be able to swim about 30-40 yards each way to get there (bring a waterproof camera if you want pics) -- but the water temperature isn't much different, and the sulfur will stain your swimsuit. Still, it was a great excursion. There is a 5 euro charge per person to hike the volcano and a 10 euro charge (each way) to ride the cable car down to (and up from) the port -- which is a cool experience all by itself. You can also walk down to/up from the port, but the trail is long. If you want to save some money, I recommend walking down (if you have time) and riding back up.

Not Recommended Hot Springs Tour - I did not like the tour at all, it’s an absolute waste of money and energy and time. You just walk on a mountain full of stones in extreme heat and temperatures and come back and you swim in dirty brown water, they have named it hot springs but nothing is hot about it. Also they don’t even inform properly if you need to wear sport shoes or slippers so that tourists can carry both. Not recommended if you are traveling with family or else if you have lot of money to waste then go ahead, also the cable car is a joke, they charge 10 euros for one way but it’s not worth the money or the time, very old cable cars and highly overpriced.
